Your guide collects you from your hotel in Puno's historic centre between 7:00 and 8:00. A shared crossing of 30 to 40 minutes takes you to the Uros, where you visit two communities and see how their reed islands are built. A traditional reed raft (balsa) ride is optional, paid to the families.

Back in Puno, lunch is at Tulipans Restaurant: one main course of your choice from the menu. In the afternoon it's a 40-minute drive to Sillustani, then a 15 to 20 minute uphill walk to the towers the Colla people built for their dead, above Lake Umayo. You stop in Hatuncolla on the way back and reach Puno between 5 and 6 pm.
