Begin your half-day excursion by travelling to a ruka, a traditional Mapuche house, where a member of the community welcomes you.

Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and smells of textiles, wood, seeds, plants, and food. Learn about the customs and traditions of the Mapuche people, the original inhabitants of this land, listen to stories about the Mapuche cosmovision narrated by Nicadela, a Mapuche woman who kindly welcomes us to her village and meet her family and members of the community.

Enjoy a traditional lunch cooked with vegetables, herbs and legumes harvested directly from their garden, and have your guide help you translate all you need to know.
