Activity itinerary

Parque de los Periodistas Gabriel Garcia Marquez

Our first stop, an iconic place where the atmosphere of students, emerald street sellers, and travellers meet. Here we have the famous Cafe pasaje, a Cafe full of tradition that has seen Bogota change throughout time. Enjoy a coffee with typical colombian pastry while enjoying the view.

Gold Museum (Museo del Oro)

Deep into the prehispanic roots of Colombia, the Gold museum will lead us to the mix between the sacred and art, in a world where they were not separated from each other, let us contemplate the pasage of time throiught the handcraft of the ancestors who saw this land evolve and those who forged the meaning and beliefs it grew with.

Iglesia de San Francisco

after the seeing the prehispanic side we will land on the colonial times where the first encounters with the native spirituality and the catholic church had, we will visit two churches with deep historical roots in the city centre area: the Church of La Veracruz and the Church of San Francisco.

Plaza De Mercado La Concordia

we will get into Concordia Market, we will walk around it, visiting its different parts and their specific areas of commerce. We will have the chance to see the wide variety of exotic fruits there are, Is up to anyone giving them a go, these are not included of course if anyone were to try them we always will provide information and context. Included in the tour, and a must for this walk, we will have some empanadas with aji (spice - /optional/), and enjoy sharing a typical snack together. After wandering around we will carry on with our walk through the city centre.

Plaza Del Chorro Del Quevedo

As in a time jump, a mix between the prehispanic, the colonial and the early modern times: El Chorro de Quevedo, a square as historic as it is impressive, known for its constant cultural activities; its narrow, cobblestone paths are lined with shops selling handicrafts and traditional food. Let the scents attract you, let the graffiti art impress you and inspire you with colours and meanings, let the joy of the sorroundings captivate your feelings.

Museo Botero del Banco de la Republica

Before arriving at Plaza de Bolívar, we will visit the museum dedicated to one of Colombia’s most iconic artists, Botero. Here, we can admire not only his own work but also his extensive collection of paintings by artists from all over the world, representing various avant-garde movements and styles. The museum is housed in what was once his home—a spacious estate located next to the Casa de Moneda and the Luis Ángel Arango Library.

Plaza de Bolivar de Bogota

At the very end of our trip, the place where all the times converge, let's admire the various buildings that make up the centre—the Palace of Justice, the Capitol, and the cathedral—while discussing the avatars of this beautiful place and the different historical periods it has experienced.
