What you can expect

  • This private tour is custom made for you and your family. You will choose at what time you want to start your tour. From there, you can decide the itinerary, and you could even decide to arrive before anyone else to Chichen Itza, one of the 7 wonders of the modern world. Also refresh yourself at Cenote Xunáan, one of the most beautiful cenotes in the area, where you can also enjoy an exquisite typical buffet.

At all times you will be accompanied by a bilingual professional guide, just for your group, which will help you in everything you need and he or she will answer all the questions you may have, as they have great knowledge in the area and of the Mayan culture.

The van in which you will travel in has air conditioning to make you feel comfortable.

In Chichen Itza you will see a unique archaeological site with well-preserved ruins and the iconic pyramid of Kukulcan, one of the 7 wonders of the modern world. You can tour the ruins at your own pace and always accompanied by your private tour guide who will tell you all the secrets of Chichen Itza and answer any questions you may have.

In Xunáan you can enjoy several activities, but without a doubt the best will be when you enter the cenote. Deep, crystalline and fresh water awaits you for a swim, as it is a young cenote with a perforation of its vault that is formed when the roots of a large tree collapsed the roof. At midday a beam of light descends through the eye of the vault into the crystalline waters of this great submerged cavern and creates a great spectacle.

Afterwards you can enjoy a buffet lunch of typical Mayan dishes such as the pork marinated at low heat and open bar at all times. Also you can visit a small Mayan village to learn how the Mayans lived, and a tequila museum where you can enjoy the most emblematic drink of Mexico.

Finally before returning to your hotel you can go to know the centre of the city of Valladolid one of the “magical places of Mexico” and take some incredible photos. You can book for any day of the week, so do not miss this unique opportunity!
