What you can expect

  • Our representative will escort you from your hotel, setting the stage for a day filled with wonder and discovery.
Your adventure begins with a visit to the High Dam, a marvel of modern engineering erected in 1960. This extraordinary structure serves as a bulwark, shielding Egypt from the Nile’s annual floods.

Next, we invite you to step back in time as you explore the Unfinished Obelisk, a testament to the ingenuity of ancient Egyptian craftsmanship. This monumental stone pillar, likely intended for Queen Hatshepsut, the esteemed 18th Dynasty ruler and consort of King Tuthmosis II, offers a fascinating glimpse into the stone-cutting techniques of antiquity. Some believe it may have been destined for Queen Nefertiti, adding an air of mystery to this historic site.

The journey continues to the awe-inspiring Philae Temple, a majestic tribute to Goddess Isis, the island’s principal deity. Immerse yourself in the grandeur of this ancient sanctuary, where history and mythology intertwine.

As the day draws to a close, we will ensure your safe return to your hotel. With Sun Pyramids Tours, every journey is an experience, every moment a memory. Join us and discover the magic of Aswan.
