The next stop is the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife, often called the Giraffe Centre, where you’ll learn about giraffe conservation efforts, and see some of the centre’s resident Rothschild's giraffes, an endangered species with a beautifully distinctive coat.

Pause for lunch at a local restaurant (own expense), then spend the afternoon spotting wildlife on a four-hour game drive through Nairobi National Park. Watch for some of the zebras, lions, gazelle, rhinos, and other animals living within the park’s boundaries, and keep your eyes out for the hundreds of bird species that migrate through the grassy plains, dry forest, and valleys each year.
