Overview

  • Discover a different side of Kanchanaburi on a private day trip combining Erawan’s forest waterfalls with peaceful temples and countryside landmarks.

    Unlike many Erawan tours centred on the River Kwai and wartime history, this itinerary focuses on nature and local culture. Spend approximately three hours exploring the waterfall, with the freedom to swim at the lower pools or hike towards the higher tiers according to your interests and fitness.

    After Erawan, enter the natural cave sanctuary of Wat Tham Phu Wa, pause beneath the enormous canopy of the Giant Rain Tree, and finish at Wat Tham Sua, known for its golden Buddha, colourful architecture and wide countryside views.

    • Shoulders and knees must be covered when visiting the temples. Guests who swim should change into dry, temple-appropriate clothing before continuing.
    • Children must remain under adult supervision around the waterfall pools and walking trails.
    • Access to individual waterfall tiers or swimming areas may change because of weather, water conditions or national-park safety regulations.
    • The order and duration of brief stops may be adjusted according to traffic, park conditions and attraction closing times.
