  • Not recommended for travellers with poor cardiovascular health

  • Ha Long Bay is so beautiful and it's crowded every day, especially in summer and weekends
  • Follow up the policy of Halong bay administration about environment, they don't allow to bring plastic bottle water to the boat & visit spots. But tourists can bring multi-use bottle/ glass bottle/ vacuum flask...Or you can leave your plastic water bottle in your bag to pass the gate!
  • Sometimes, you will see garbages on Ha Long Bay due to changes in flowing water and tides, garbages from other places come to to Ha Long Bay. Government, local people, travel companies... are trying their best to clean up Ha Long Bay.
  • Tipping is entirely optional. You are under no obligation to tip, even if asked by locals. We provide this advice to help you avoid any inconvenience.

8.30-9.00: Get picked up at the hotel in Hanoi Old Quater/ Opera House to depart Halong Bay Our journey follows Hanoi – Haiphong- Tuan Chau Highway (about a 2.5-hour drive). Please note that you will have a break before going to the port if you arrive early because the boat is available at around 12pm only.
