ITINERARY
We will pick you up at your hotel in the centre of Hue city around 6:30AM and depart to Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park for starting the tour.
On the way, we will pass by many interesting places. Don't regret that you can't visit all of them, tour guide will give you short introduction about them. First of all, we will pass by La Vang church, the holy land of Catholic in Vietnam. You will listen to Blessed Mother's stories when she appeared and helped people.
To have a better understanding about Vietnam War, you will be received information of Quang Tri Citadel, which was built in 1824 (The fierce battle of 81 days and nights has made this citadel well-known all over the world). Tour guide introduces about many places such as: Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge, Doc Mieu Base, etc. , which is known as DMZ of Vietnam.
Arrive in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. This is time for lunch to get more energy to the afternoon. You will have lunch in a restaurant and a short break time.
After lunch, you get a boat and cruise along Son River to Phong Nha Cave. The boat will follow the river's flow to go inside the cave. You will feel the magical and magnificent caves. Phong Nha also boasts underground rivers, large caverns and passageways and broad, pristine sandbanks. The most impressive cave - Phong Nha cave is probably also the most beautiful with many fascinating rock formations with imaginative names such as The Lion, Fairy Caves,etc inside the Phong Nha Caves, the more illusory the stalactites and stalagmites look as they glitter when right light is shone on them. There are thousands of stalactites and massive stones in cave. If you observe in long enough time, you will find some of them have animal shapes like lions and crocodiles. Do you see them. Moreover, this is the longest underground river in the world. You can lost in this fairy land, watch out!
Next, we will start to back to Hue on the Ho Chi Minh trail. Then, we arrive in Hue and drop you off at your hotel.
