Know before you book

  • Schedule subject to change due to traffic or weather conditions for safety
  • Namba Departure: Please meet on the ground floor of JR Namba OCAT, located at 1 Chome 4-1 Minatomachi, Osaka by 8:50AM. The bus will depart at 9:00AM.
  • Infants (0-2 years) free (seat and meal not included); must sit on an adult's lap
  • Halal and Vegan lunches are not available. Please choose the without-lunch option and bring your own.
  • For vegetarian requests, contact us directly (message activity provider) at least 3 days before the tour.
  • Pickup: Bus Departs from the ground floor of the Namba OCAT building at 9:00 AM. Please be at the meeting point at 8:50 AM as the bus will leave on time and will not wait for late arrivals.
  • Look for the guide wearing yellow attire with "LIMON" written on it. If you come to OCAT by the JR line train, please take the escalator up one floor and you'll see Daiso (dollar store) there. The check-in counter is located near Daiso.

Hop aboard a comfortable coach and ride to Japan's ancient capital to see the brilliant torii gates of the Fushimi Inari Shrine, the UNESCO-listed sites of Kiyomizu-dera temple and Kinkakuji, the Golden Pavilion, before finally visiting the beautiful Arashiyama area, famous for Saga Bamboo forest and beautiful walking areas.

We begin the tour at Fushimi Inari Shrine, a Shinto shrine dedicated to the guardian deity of agriculture, Fushimi-Inari. Experience the wonder of walking through the seemingly endless vermillion torii gates before embarking on the journey to our next destination, Kiyomizu-dera.

The Japanese proverb “jumping off the stage at Kiyomizu” means “to take a risk,” and the temple's iconic wooden stage, dramatically extending over the hillside, brings this saying to life. The stage of the UNESCO-listed temple, which was built without using a single nail and is supported by 139 pillars, boasts a wide view overlooking Kyoto and the beautiful surrounding nature. You can also drink from one of the three rejuvenating streams of Otowa Waterfall, said to bring success, love, and longevity. This temple is famous for the cherry blossoms in spring and the foliage in autumn.

Next, stop at Kinkaku-ji, also known as the Golden Pavilion, whose gold-leaf-covered exterior glimmers in the sunlight. Wander through the immaculate gardens surrounding the temple, admiring the original Japanese designs that have been preserved since the time of the Ashikaga shogunate.

Finish the day in Arashiyama, which has been a popular nature-viewing destination since the Heian Period. Take a stroll through the cool Sagano Bamboo Forest and listen to the distinct rustle of bamboo leaves as you walk. You can enjoy the sunset as you wander along the Katsura river, or enjoy a snack and souvenirs on your walk back to the bus. In the late afternoon, hop on the bus back to your starting point.
