Begin the morning with a sensory city tour. Visit the main square of Ocosingo and the historic Church of San Jacinto de Polonia before diving into its vibrant traditional market—a colourful hub of local life. Here, enjoy an exclusive tasting of the famous Queso de Bola de Ocosingo, an artisanal culinary masterpiece with protected Denomination of Origin status.
Exploration of Toniná Archaeological Site

Journey to the base of Toniná, one of the most imposing yet uncrowded ancient Maya cities. Led by our specialist guide, explore its stone labyrinth, intricate stucco reliefs, and one of Mesoamerica’s tallest pyramid structures—a testament to an ambitious civilisation that challenged the great lords of the Classic Period.
Local Gastronomy & Afternoon Return
After the archaeological exploration, unwind over a relaxing lunch at a local restaurant to savour the region's best dishes at an unhurried pace (lunch not included). Finally, enjoy a scenic drive through the tropical surroundings as we head back, arriving in San Cristóbal by late afternoon.
