Begin your tour with pickup from your hotel in Pasikuda. Travel inland in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle through the scenic landscapes of Sri Lanka's Eastern Province, passing rural villages, paddy fields, forests, and reservoirs on the way to Maduru Oya National Park.

Upon arrival near the park entrance, meet your private safari jeep driver and begin an exciting wildlife safari through the diverse natural habitats of Maduru Oya National Park.

Enjoy an approximately 3-hour private jeep safari through forested areas, open grasslands, wetlands, and reservoir surroundings. The park is especially known for its population of Sri Lankan elephants, while other possible wildlife sightings include spotted deer, sambar deer, wild boar, water buffalo, monkeys, crocodiles, reptiles, and a wide variety of resident and migratory birds.

Your safari driver will help identify wildlife and select suitable routes based on recent animal movements and park conditions. The quieter surroundings and less-crowded safari trails offer a relaxing and authentic wildlife experience.

After completing the safari, return to your air-conditioned vehicle and travel back to Pasikuda. You will be dropped off at your hotel, completing your Maduru Oya National Park private safari experience.
