What you can expect

  • Begin your private day trip with a pickup from your accommodation in Linz. Travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle with an English-speaking guide who provides practical orientation, recommends scenic photo locations, and takes photos of you using your own phone.

    Stop at Gmunden on Lake Traunsee for a waterfront photo opportunity with an exterior view of Ort Castle. Continue through the Salzkammergut to Hallstatt, where your guide will take you to a classic panoramic viewpoint for photos.

    Enjoy approximately 3 hours of independent time in Hallstatt to explore the market square, lakeside streets, shops, and viewpoints. Then, drive to Lake Gosau for an independent lakeside walk and photographs of the Dachstein mountain backdrop.
