Know before you book

  • If the Grand Egyptian Museum is closed for any reason, the visit will be replaced with the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square.
  • A breakfast box can be arranged from your hotel and be collected before the pickup service at your hotel.
  • The long-range pickup service from Safaga, Makadi, Soma Bay, Al Gona, and Sahl Hashish is available at an additional cost.
  • If you prefer to buy the entry ticket on-site, please note that according to the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism, travellers must purchase entry tickets using a card; cash is not accepted.

What you can expect

Start your day with a comfortable drive from Hurghada to Cairo. Once you arrive, your guide will take you to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where you can see one of the world’s largest collections of ancient treasures. Discover statues, royal artefacts, and the famous items of King Tutankhamun.

Next, head to the Giza Plateau, home of the legendary Pyramids of Giza. Stand in front of the Great Pyramid of Cheops, explore the smaller pyramids, and enjoy the stunning desert views. Your guide will share the history and secrets of how these wonders were built thousands of years ago.

Then, visit the Great Sphinx, the giant statue with the body of a lion and the face of a king. It has guarded the pyramids for more than 4,000 years and remains one of Egypt’s most mysterious monuments.
