Begin the excursion when our transport choices you up from your hotel located in the city centre and then travel to Chinchero for approximately one hour.
The first place to visit will be a textile centre where you will learn the process of making textiles made from alpaca fibre, then explore the archaeological centre of Chinchero where you will receive an explanation about the place and you will be able to see the enclosure of the Inca Tupac Yupanqui.
Next, visit Moray, considered an experimental agricultural laboratory where you will see its impressive circular terraces.
Near Moray you will visit the Maras Salt Mines with its more than 4 thousand pits from where the Incas used to extract salt and today the local population continues with the same tradition.
Upon arrival in Urubamba enjoy a delicious Andean buffet lunch.
After lunch, visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo where you will be surprised by its imposing Inca constructions. Ollantaytambo was a great fortress built to defend the entrance to Machu Picchu.
Finally, visit Pisaq where you can see its agricultural terraces, Inca cemetery and the different enclosures of Inca royalty.
The tour will end upon arriving in Cusco when our transport leaves you one block from the main square.
