We'll pick you up from your accommodation in the historic centre of Cusco at 8:00 PM. Rest at night on a sleeper bus with 160-degree reclining seats. You'll arrive in Puerto Maldonado early in the morning.

Day 1: Arrival and Adventure
We'll pick you up at the land terminal and take you to our cosy hostel, where a refreshing welcome with seasonal fruit drinks will be waiting for you. Settle into your bungalow and get ready for an introductory jungle hike, where you'll discover the variety of plants, insects, and birds in our conservation forest. And for the more adventurous, an exciting suspension bridge (zip line) awaits! In the afternoon, we'll cruise the river in search of wild animals and take in the beautiful sunset. At dusk, we'll look for caimans and capybaras.

Day 2: Tambopata National Reserve and Lake Sandoval
At dawn, we'll sail downriver to the Tambopata National Reserve (1 hour). We'll walk 3 km and observe insects, monkeys, and giant spiders. Then, we'll arrive at Lake Sandoval, where we'll paddle slowly and discover the lake's wildlife, including piranhas, birds, butterflies, mammals, monkeys, and the giant river otter. We'll head back to the hostel in the afternoon and enjoy a relaxing campfire.

Day 3: Sunrise and Wildlife
We'll get up early (4:30 am) and head out to see the parrots and macaws. After breakfast, we'll hike through the conservation forest looking for Brazil nut trees, snakes, sloths, and wildlife. Then, we'll head back to the hostel to pack up and leave.
Board the sleeper bus at 8:00 p.m. and travel overnight on the sleeper bus, arriving back at your hotel in Cusco early the next morning (7:30 a.m.).
