What you can expect

We will pick you up at the door of your hotel and in a comfortable and safe vehicle we will head towards the picturesque town of Carmelo, the cradle of winemaking in Uruguay.
Together with an experienced driver you will start this 1 hour trip, while enjoying the beautiful landscapes typical of the Uruguayan countryside.
Upon arrival in the city of Carmelo you will be able to take an essential tour in the main points of the town, take unforgettable pictures and learn a little more about its history.
Then, we will continue to the small town called Colonia Estrella, where the traditional family vineyards of Bodega El Legado are located. You will be welcomed by its owners, and you will be able to visit the vineyards, know the cellar, the process of elaboration of its fine wines, the labelling room, and finally taste a snack of cheeses and cold cuts of the area paired with the delicious El Legado wines.

At the end of the experience, you will return safely back to your hotel in Colonia del Sacramento.
