By participating in this exclusive and elite tour, you will have the opportunity to discover the wonders of the island of Ischia from a completely new perspective: directly from the sea! All activities are private, and no one else, apart from the number of people you have booked, will participate in this incredible experience. On a paddleboard or kayak, you will sail along the eastern side of the island: departing directly from Ischia Ponte, you will meet your guide and discover the majestic and iconic Aragonese Castle, then venture among the rocks of Sant'Anna and reach Cartaromana beach for some relaxation in the natural thermal hot pools with a view of the Aragonese Castle. Dive in at the foot of the Castle and swim in the crystal-clear green waters, admiring the seabed covered with Posidonia Oceanica.
For a unique and special experience, don't miss the opportunity to admire the sunrise and the colours of the rising sun directly from the sea, just a few metres from the Aragonese Castle. You won't be able to resist swimming in the clear, calm waters warmed by the first rays of the sun.
SUP boards are always available, with the option to request a kayak as an alternative, subject to availability. Never been on a paddleboard? Don't worry! You'll start paddling while sitting comfortably, just like in kayaking. You won't be able to resist the urge to try standing up, following the guide's advice. Fun is guaranteed!
During this incredible experience at sea, you will be able to see:
- the Aragonese Castle, the marine area of the Kingdom of Neptune, and the seabed covered by Poseidonia Oceanica
- the Scogli di Sant'Anna, the Torre Guevara and the Church of Sant'Anna
- Carta Romana Beach and the natural thermal pools
Not just the sea: admire the island's green mountains!
During the route, enjoy a stop with coffee and snacks on the beach or directly on the SUP.
Each participant will be provided with paddles, a life jacket, a smartphone cover, a 10L dry bag, and a bottle of water. An initial briefing will explain how to stay safe on board the SUP/kayak and how to use the paddles correctly.
Please bring the essentials: sun cream, hat, t-shirt and/or windproof jacket.
Bags and backpacks can be stored directly on site in complete security.
Although no great effort is required, a moderate commitment is needed to participate in the tour, and YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM. Participation is allowed for those over 18 and under 70 years of age.
The meeting point is in Ischia Ponte near Piazzale delle Alghe. The start and end locations are the same.
