What you can expect
The Real Everglades Eco Tour Is Back!
Starting June 16, 2026, we are once again able to offer one of the most authentic Everglades experiences available from Miami.
Forget crowded commercial parks and oversized airboats carrying dozens of passengers. Venture into the heart of the Everglades, the famous “River of Grass,” and experience this unique ecosystem the way it was meant to be explored.
Your adventure begins with premium small-group transport aboard a new Mercedes Sprinter Van (maximum 14 passengers). Fully licensed and insured, our vehicle provides a safe, comfortable, and professional experience from start to finish.
Unlike simple shuttle transport, your multilingual guide will introduce you to the Everglades ecosystem, wildlife, history, and Native American heritage during the journey.
Upon arrival, board a small semi-private airboat reserved exclusively for our group. Unlike the large commercial airboats found in many tourist parks, our airboats feature tiered seating rather than a single flat-row arrangement, ensuring excellent visibility for every passenger throughout the ride.
The airboat adventure lasts approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 20 minutes, significantly longer than many standard Everglades tours. Travel through grand open marshes and narrow sawgrass trails while exploring remote areas accessible only by airboat. Noise-reducing headsets are provided for your comfort.
With fewer passengers on board, your captain can provide a more personal experience and often bring the boat closer to wildlife observation areas, creating excellent opportunities to observe alligators, birds, turtles, and other native species in their natural habitat.
Visit two private tree islands located deep within the Everglades and accessible only by airboat.
The first island serves as a wildlife rehabilitation area where rescued baby alligators and turtles are cared for. Here, you may have the opportunity to safely hold a rescued baby alligator while learning about conservation efforts and Everglades wildlife.
The second island is a historic family camp passed down through generations and rich in local history. Learn about Native American traditions and the people who have called the Everglades home for generations. Keep an eye out for “Mama Gator,” a large wild alligator frequently seen near the island and one of the area's most famous residents.
Enjoy at the new Miccosukee Service Plaza, offering snacks, refreshments and souvenirs and convenience store facilities
This tour offers a unique combination of nature, wildlife, culture, and adventure that few visitors ever experience.
Important: The Everglades is a natural environment. Wildlife sightings, routes, and island visits may vary depending on weather conditions and water levels.
⏱ Duration: 4.5 – 5 hours
