Learn to surf in a supportive, women-only setting on the Atlantic coast. Porto Surf Femmes is a beachfront surf school created exclusively for women, offering a safe and encouraging space to progress—whether you’re a first-timer or already comfortable catching small waves.

Your lesson takes place in Espinho, at Praia de Paramos, a beach set beside a typical Portuguese fishing village. The spot is ideal for a relaxed surf day, with nearby comforts like showers, a beach bar, snack options, and a restaurant—perfect for unwinding before or after your session.

The experience includes a 2-hour surf lesson led by certified instructors. You’ll start with beach-based instruction and theory—covering safety, ocean awareness, paddling technique, pop-up fundamentals, and how to read the conditions. Then you’ll head into the water to put it into practice, with hands-on coaching tailored to your level. Lessons are run in small groups, helping you get personal feedback while enjoying the energy of a community.

For safety, classes are scheduled around low tide. If conditions are not safe, the session may be cancelled and then rescheduled or refunded. After the lesson, feel free to relax on the beach and enjoy the calm coastal vibe of Paramos.
