Tour Itinerary:
Meet your guide at the scheduled time to begin exploring Bukhara’s old town with the following stops.
1) Lyabi-Hauz Square – The heart of historic Bukhara, centred around a centuries-old pond and surrounded by madrasahs, teahouses, and lively local atmosphere.
2) Nodir Devonbegi Khanakah- A 17th-century Sufi lodge in the heart of Bukhara, known for its elegant architecture, peaceful courtyard, and rich spiritual heritage.
3) Sayfuddin Caravansarai- A historic Silk Road caravanserai where merchants and travellers once rested, showcasing Bukhara's rich trading heritage and traditional architecture.
4) Toki Sarrafon – an old trading dome once famous for money changers.
5) Magoki-Attori Mosque – one of Bukhara’s oldest mosques, now home to the Carpet Museum.
6) Toki Telpakfurushon – the largest covered bazaar, once a hub for hat and skullcap sellers.
7) Abdullakhan Tim – an elegant domed bazaar built for silk trading.
8) Abdulazizkhan Madrasah – richly decorated with colourful mosaics and carved details.
9) Ulugbek Madrasah – one of the city’s oldest Islamic schools, built by the great astronomer.
10) Toki Zargaron – trading dome where jewellers once worked and sold their crafts.
11) Kalyan Minaret – the iconic 12th-century tower, symbol of Bukhara.
12) Kalyan Mosque – a massive Friday mosque with space for 10,000 worshippers.
13) Miri Arab Madrasah – an active Islamic school opposite the mosque.
14) Passing by the Ark Fortress– the ancient citadel of Bukhara’s rulers. Nowadays is being used as a Bukhara State Museum. The Ark Fortress is shown only from the outside, since visiting its museum sections would add an extra 1–1.5 hours.
15) Bolo-Hauz Mosque – famous for its wooden pillars reflected in the pool.
