What you can expect

  • Lake Bled first, and properly: four hours for the lakeshore walk, the pletna boat to the island if you like, the castle above the water, and lunch with the Julian Alps as the backdrop. No racing through Slovenia's most famous view.

    Then the day splits. The classic afternoon drives the Radovna Valley into Triglav National Park, under the north face of Mount Triglav, to Kranjska Gora, Lake Jasna and the springs at Zelenci, where the Sava rises in shades of green you have to see to believe. Or you stay at Lake Bled on your own: swim, rent a SUP, ride the summer toboggan, take an easy hike above the lake, or book rafting or the zipline with licensed activity guides, we arrange your spot. Whichever you choose, the van collects everyone on the way home, back in Ljubljana by early evening.

    We keep the group to 8 in a comfortable van so the day stays flexible, admissions stay optional with prices shared upfront, and the same local team has run this route since 2011, today as official Gray Line Slovenia licensee.
