What you can expect

Start your tour with pick-up from your accommodation in Belgrade and head towards Zica Monastery. Visit this red church built in the 13th century where Stefan the First-Crowned was crowned. Admire the many exquisite religious murals.

Next, visit Maglic Fortress, built to safeguard two important local monasteries and prevent any future Mongolian raids deeper into Serbian lands. Look at this majestic castle from the outside (it is currently undergoing repairs).
Go to the famous Studenica Monastery, established in the 12th century, for your final stop. Discover the largest and richest of Serbia's Orthodox monasteries. See the Church of the Virgin and the Church of the King, both built of white marble and containing priceless collections of 13th and 14th-century Byzantine art. Enjoy a convenient transfer back to Belgrade at the end of your tour.
