Your first destination is Trunyan Village, one of Bali’s oldest settlements. Reached by boat across Lake Batur, the village is known for its unique burial tradition. Instead of cremation, certain deceased community members are laid to rest beneath the sacred Taru Menyan tree using bamboo enclosures, following local customs and spiritual beliefs.

Continue to Bayung Gede Village, another Bali Aga village with distinct traditions. Here, you will learn about local birth-related rituals and community practices that differ from most other regions in Bali.
The journey concludes at Kehen Temple, an important Hindu temple located on the hillside of Bangli. Explore its terraced courtyards, ceremonial gates, and ancient banyan tree while gaining insight into its religious significance.
