    After Cathedral Cove, enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch by the coast before heading to Hot Water Beach. Here, you can dig your own natural spa pool in the warm, mineral-rich sand — tide permitting.

    With a small group, plenty of time to explore and a great mix of nature, scenery and adventure, this is a relaxed way to experience the Coromandel before returning to Auckland in the evening.

    • The walk to and from Cathedral Cove takes around 40–45 minutes each way and includes uneven terrain, steep sections and stairs. The return journey is uphill and can be physically demanding. Guests with limited mobility or difficulty walking on uneven surfaces and stairs may find this tour unsuitable.
