What you can expect

Begin your journey in Nayapul, a charming gateway to the Annapurna region. Trek through traditional Gurung and Magar villages, gaining insight into local culture and rural mountain life. Pass terraced fields and dense forests within the Annapurna Conservation Area.

An early challenge is the stone staircase to Ulleri, a steep ascent offering your first true Himalayan experience. Continue through vibrant rhododendron forests, streams, and distant snowy peaks, making every step a scenic delight.

The trek’s highlight is the early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210 m). As the sun rises, golden light reveals the majestic peaks of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre, Nilgiri, and Tilicho an awe-inspiring view that lingers in memory.

Descend to Ghandruk, a picturesque Gurung village celebrated for its traditional architecture, warm hospitality, and stunning views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre a perfect spot to relax and reflect on your Himalayan adventure.
