Early morning pick-up from your hotel in Cusco (around 4:00–5:00 a.m.) and drive south towards Tintinco, where you will enjoy a buffet breakfast. Then, continue to Phulawasipata, the starting point of the hike. Begin a 2-hour trek (moderate difficulty) to the famous Rainbow Mountain, Vinicunca. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to take photos and admire the breathtaking views, including the Ausangate glacier in the distance (weather permitting). Afterwards, hike back to the vehicles and return to Tintinco for an Andean buffet lunch. Finally, travel back to Cusco, arriving around 5:00 p.m.

After a brief briefing from the guide, start the trek: the first section is a gentle walk, followed by a steady uphill climb of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours (3 km total) until reaching Humantay Lake. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to rest, take photos, and admire the turquoise lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Then descend back to Soraypampa and drive to Mollepata for a buffet lunch. Finally, return to Cusco, with arrival around 6:00 p.m.
