WHAT TO EXPECT
Ban Gioc Waterfall is one of Vietnam’s best-known waterfalls. The falls, fed by the Quay Son River that marks the border with China, is an impressive sight and in a highly scenic location. Scattered around Ban Gioc waterfall in an unexpected neat pattern, the rock platforms have separated the water masses into many currents like silver threads. This tour will take you from the vast lakes and chalky karsts of Ba Be National Park to the wild and rugged landscapes of Cao Bang to visit the spectacular Ban Gioc waterfall.
ITINERARY IN BRIEF
Day 1 Hanoi - Lang Son - Quang Uyen (L, D)
7.30-8.00: Pick up and transfer to Lang Son province
- Driving through Chi Lang Pass
- Walk around and explore the area around the Quy Mon Quan Gate
- Having lunch at a local restaurant in Dong Dang
- Continue your trip to visit Mother’s Temple
- Enjoy dinner and overnight at homestay
Day 2 Cao Bang - Ban Gioc Waterfall - Ba Be Lake (B, L, D)
7.30: Enjoy breakfast which is served
- Visit the local Nung’s ethnic village of Phuoc Sen
- Take chance to the breath-taking Ban Gioc Waterfall
- Head over to Nguom Ngao Cave
- Return to Cao Bang town
- Head down the “snake pass” to Ba Be Lake
- Enjoy a delicious and authentic home-cooked meal, overnight at homestay
Day 3: Ba Be Lake - Hanoi (B, L)
- Having breakfast and transfer to the boat station
- Spend your time on the boat to discover Ba Be Lake
- Next, we explore the caves of Puong Grotto
- Take time to relax on the bus while comeback Ha Noi
- Stop for lunch at a local restaurant
17.00 – 17.30: Arrive Ha Noi, drop off at hotel.
