What you can expect

Experience the heart of Australia on an unforgettable overnight Red Centre Ulrur safari!
This immersive small-group camping adventure takes you deep into the spiritual landscape of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, where towering red domes and sacred stories define the land. Over two incredible days, you’ll witness iconic outback sunrises and sunsets, explore world-famous geological wonders, and connect with the region’s ancient Aboriginal culture.

The journey begins with a scenic drive through the desert plains. Departing from Alice Springs, we head towards the majestic silhouette of Uluru. Along the way, you’ll stop at local landmarks like Mt Connor lookout and Curtin Springs before arriving at camp near the base of the rock. IWe head to camp for lunch for heading out on an adventure.

You’ll visit the Uluru Cultural Centre, learning about Anangu traditions and spiritual connections to the land. Then walk the base of Uluru itself, stopping at Mutitjulu Waterhole, Kantju Gorge, and sites of sacred rock art. As the sun sets, enjoy a moment of reflection at one of Australia’s most iconic viewpoints.

Your overnight stay offers the chance to sleep in a permanent safari tent or under the stars in a traditional swag. Around the campfire, you’ll share stories, help prepare meals with your guide, and fall asleep under the clear outback sky—an authentic bush experience like no other.

On Day Two, rise early to witness a spectacular desert sunrise before heading to the ancient formations of Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). These dramatic rock domes are over 500 million years old. Depending on the weather and group preference, you’ll walk through either the Valley of the Winds or Walpa Gorge, taking in awe-inspiring views and rugged landscapes along the way.

This tour is designed for the active, curious traveller—those looking for a genuine connection with country, culture, and community. Whether you're gazing out across endless desert plains, cooling off in a gorge, or hearing ancient stories told beneath a blanket of stars, this is the outback at its most magical.
