Good value for money in a good location

Tiny room and bathroom but comfy bed, tasty free breakfast buffet and the location cannot be beat. Walk with your luggage in 5 minutes to the central train station and the airport express train, and all the shops and restaurants.

Location in Gamla Stan is excellent for walking as well as close access to public transportation . The hotel is historical and comfortable. The breakfast is more than adequate . The bathroom shower is a bit hard to keep water inside the tub.

I had initially planned on splitting my week long stay in Stockholm between 2 hotels but ended up staying at the Sparrow for the entire trip. The Superior King room that I had was so comfortable, I didn’t want to leave! The hotel is located in a nicely maintained old building which adds to the charm, with several common areas to discover. I loved the complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning. Just note that the restaurant and wine bar are closed on Sun-Mon, but there are other wonderful dining options within walkable distance. Would definitely stay again!

The property was undergoing refurbishment so area around reception was chaotic. However, the staff were fantastic and in particular there was a very cheerful and helpful person who guided us to the breakfast area without needing to ask. Room was quite small, and there was no clarity around some snacks and a bottle of wine kept on the table - whether they were to be paid for or not and what the prices were. Ok for short business trips as the working desk and WiFi were good.
