The check in was ok. I asked for a room that is higher like the 6th floor to avoid noise but staff didnt give us one but instead gave us a room on firat floor that has a door that opens to the the other room. we were inside room when all of a sudden two guys opened the door! We felt unsafe. Theres no curtain that blocks off light nor any overhead light in the room. The bathroom looks modern and clean. The bathroom shower floor is slippery we had to lau a towel on it.The beds were nicely done with separate duvet. They are undergoing construction the staff said so when we checked out. We were given another room after we complained of the door opening to the next room. they do not have A/C. A fan was provided. our room 117-very noisy street level noises had that opening door but when we asked to be transferred they have us room 119 which was quiet but no blocking curtain. No phones in the room. No charging stations.

I felt that the property reeked of cigarette smoke from the bar downstairs all the way up to our rooms. I wasn’t happy with that.

The hotel is very conveniently located in the main city core, about an 8 minute walk from the train station. There is a bus/tram stop just across and down the street. The staff were exceptional from our check-in, to assisting with all our inquiries. Unfortunately, there was no refridgerator in our room which would have been very useful, but staff were kind enough to store our perishables in the hotel kitchen refridgerator overnight before our early morning departure. The hotel provides a free public transportation pass which was so convenient and amazing to have. We just hopped on and off the trams to get a wonderful tour of Lucerne and to get to and from the train station with our bags. We would definitely stay here again!

It’s our first time to travel in Europe and this is officially our first hotel and we loved it, so close to everything that we want to do in Lucerne, staff are very helpful and accommodating. We would love to comeback here someday 😊

I booked the double room with a lake view. My room's view was an office building. When I went to inform the manager, first he was confused, then I showed him my booking confirmation. He laughed and said no room in the hotel has a lake view, and he would remove the "lake view" from the description. I'm writing this review one week after I checked in, and it is still in the description. The hotel is 3 and a half stars; I say it's a 2 at least. WiFi was also a major issue, and the lady at reception told me to add my card details, but I would not be charged. I wasn't sure, so I just left, as I have never had to add my card details to get free wifi. The great thing about the hotel is that it is located in a great area and is very convenient to get everywhere via walking, buses, and taxis. It is a 15-minute walk from the train station and most of the main attractions.

Pleasant stay
The staff was really nice, very helpful. I liked the hotel, it was near to Lucern station and convinient. The room was clean and breakfast was also good.

Room was nicely equipped, neat and clean. Located in a safe neighborhood close to all main attractions and transportation. Check in was easier and the guy at the reception was very patient and professional. Breakfast needs improvement- not many good options. Bread but no toaster which was very disappointing. I mean how much does it cost to put up a POP- UP toaster. In the room, they need to remove the thin white curtains which are see through unless you realize to put down the blinds via the switch on the side. Curtains should be bit thicker , not see through when you turn on the lights and should provide enough darkness when shut off for privacy and sleep at night. Overall good and an economic and convenient option to stay in Luzern - close to all.

Excellent location
The staff is really amazing. Good location and some rooms have the view of the lake. Bed is very comfortable. Cons: the offered car parking was so expensive, but you can manage to park somewhere nearby easily. It’s quite noisy as it is nearby the main Street.

Hotel is centrally located and staff is very friendly and accommodating. Parking is exorbitantly expensive but apparently that is the going rate; parking garage is nonetheless right around the corner from the hotel and very convenient to enter the main old city. Breakfast was fine with good coffee and a nice corner/picture window ding area. Room was very serviceable. The bathroom could have done with tissues, and the internet access was somehow difficult.

The staff are very kind and assistive. The location of the hotel is very convenient although the location is beside a busy street the sound of the people in the restaurant at the ground of the hotel and the passing cars does not matter.

Stayed here for a couple nights in Lucerne and the room was not up to minimum expectations. Room was not even clean and had spider webs, dirty towels, used shampoo & conditioner, etc. However, we made the hotel known and they provided a complimentary breakfast. The hotel was full and unable to provide us a new room

They were unable to programme 2 keys to open the room. When they programmed the second key it never worked d or it would disable the other one. Did not warn us in advance about paying parking although we rang them in advance to ask about parking. They just said that here was parking first come first served. At 3.00pm they had not made the room the following day because they said they prioritised rooms for new arrivals so we could not use the room to rest.

We really liked our room, the level of cleanliness, and the overall appearance of the room. What wasn't so good was that breakfast was extra at _CHF 20 per head per day. Hence, we had to give it a pass. Also, the area was noisy. Traffic noises came up to the 4th floor! Some positives include the very friendly staff, the fact that we were not charged for one coffee per head in the morning, and the easy access to the buses and the lake. The amenities were good, but there were no plug sockets at the head-end of the beds.
