Unique and good breakfast. Staff is also very professional and good. Just wanted to state that if you decide to allocate in the rooms without windows, which is decent for a night stay,might be slightly noicy since grryone passed through it.

Hotel is located at a great location of Hanoi however the property is tired and run down. Staffs are friendly. Compare the price and hotel conditions to other similar hotels with similar average nightly rates in the area this hotel is expensive and getting you less for your money.

Good but needs some attention
Staff was superb including all doormen, front desk and restaurant staff. Complimentary wine (merlot/cab) at the bar (Accor member perk) poured out of a big jug was not good. At least that one wine needs to be replaced with a better wine. Also, breakfast options were very good. However, no one was staffing the pho bar the morning of Feb 7 in the Garden Restaurant. The baked goods (almond croissant) were also stale.

I have chosen that hotel because I wanted the lake/city view. On the pictures rooms were amazing, in reality for $80 dollars we have got a TINY room with NO windows. I am glad that I paid only for one night, the rest time in Hanoi we are going to stay somewhere else.

On arrival having booked last minute we were offered rooms without windows. We said we wantwd a quiet room with windows so they gave us quiet ones that looked onto a brick wall instead! Our rooms were tidy and clean but it smelt really strongly of cigarettes - on request we were offered a body spray for the room. We needed a late checkout as our flight was at midnight we asked if we coukd checkout late or was there a shower we could use, but unfortunately neither option was given. But they did look after our bags after the noon check out. Good location and great breakfast.

Very pleasant stay & staff. Belle epoque building is high ceilinged, large room. To improve: shower head location & curtain result in wet floor; proactive, accurate and updated info on local resources (e.g.hairdressers) and events ( e.g. live music clubs and weekend goingson around lake); more power sockets.

Great stay, will return.
Hotel was very convenient, especially during car free days. Car free zones is just outside the hotel. It was an excellent stay, breakfast was good. Many food options available around. Hoan Kiem Lake is just outside the hotel. A birthday cake was provided for us because one of us had birthday on the day of our stay. It was a very good surprise. We felt the hotel team's effort in making the guests feel welcome. Excellent Job and kudos to the Zephyr Team.

Nice hotel but strong smoke smell
This is a well located property in Hanoi right next to Hoan Kiem. The staff is friendly and helpful and the facilities are clean and comfortable. The towels are not as fluffy and new as they could be, but that is a minor issue. Breakfast is decent. However, the biggest issue is that there was a smoker in the 4th floor and that meant we slept and woke up to quite a bit of smoke smell that was quite strong. That was disappointing and I hope that the hotel realizes that one selfish client like that can result in another client unhappiness. Other than that I think the hotel is nice.

Old and non soundproof rooms
Friendly service but room condition is quite old and windowless and it’s not soundproof, encountered a group of Vietnamese talking and running around, screaming constantly along the corridor and it persisted till like 1am... so could not get to sleep and it made the stay really uncomfortable. Hotel breakfast was decent and location of the hotel is good.

Noisy room with no lake view
Staff upgraded me to lake view upon my return 2 nights stay . But rm805 has no lake view Becos it’s blocked by the trees . In addition, it faces the Main Street and my sleep was less than sound Becos of constant blowing of car horns and noisy motorcycle in the late night and early morning.
