Good for the price, part of an old building. Very helpful staff at all time. Shopping close. Tram to downtown, airport, train and bus stations within 10 minutes walking distance. Many thanks for wonderful staff service.

A great place to stay when visiting Florence. Conveniently located on bus and tram lines but also walkable into the historical centre (20-30 minutes walk, 10-15 min bus/tram). Room with own bathroom and terrace was spacious and as advertised. Also a decent-sized kitchen available for use by all, including fridge and two hobs. Basics such as olive oil, sugar and salt all on hand. There’s also a coffee machine with pods (one per person per day) and kettle. Seating inside and on terrace. Arrived with Flixbus at Villa Constanza and able to get tram and then bus which stops virtually outside (about 30-40 min journey). A little noisy as on a main road but would definitely recommend and would stay here again if visiting Florence.

The property was very nice and cosy. They had a full kitchen with an electric stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator. The only downside was the lack of any type of A/C. They had a fan but being one of the hottest days in Italy, (104°f) the fan was not doing much.

The place was really noisy and we couldn’t sleep over nights! Any person opening the room or washroom you can hear! We heard the dog bark as well! I was not sure if the place was pet friendly or not! We will not come back for sure!

It was wonderful time for me and my son. The room was not big but cosy. The hotel is placed near T2 tram line ( between the airport and railway station), very comfortable to reach. Well organized kitchen with the possibility to eat on wonderful terrace. We are very grateful to Mario and Dominico for this beautiful stay.

We had a lovely stay, the hotel is located in a nice area with plenty food shops around. It’s just off the tram which takes you into the city centre very quickly. Hosts were very helpful and offered recommendations as well! Would stay again!

awesome location. 20/30 min walk from train station, bikes on property was awesome bonus. staff are friendly and professional. place is extremely clean. fan and tv in room shared bathroom area always clean. stairs only in the home, staff assisted with luggage which was appreciated. approx 40 min walk to downtown area

Dear Anonymous, we are really sorry if you did not completely enjoyed your stay here. Please, when booking something, you should always compare the price that you will pay with the service that you will have. We are a simple and friendly guest house with fair prices. We have opening and closing time for the check-in and check out, the kitchen...and we do charge fees for some services as clearly written everywhere. We remain flexible and available for our guests when needed. Anyway, the free check in is available from 3 pm to 8 pm and the kitchen close at 10 pm (i thought is a reasonable time). Air conditioning is available in upgrade categories. Hope that we will have the pleasure to welcome you again and make you change opinion about us. Regards,

we booked the hotel for the kids because they arrived after 11 PM on their flight from London. When they got there the Hotelier said they did not confirm and they were late for check in so their room was given away. Not sure if we will get our money back since it is oversees. They never got to see the room they were treated poorly

We are really sorry for the inconvenience but it was not our fault It is written on the website that we are a Guest House and the check in is from 3pm to 8pm. After this time we can not guarantee the check in, unless we get special requests from our guests. We had never get some request from this guest for arriving at 11pm. We always send emails to all guests by this website and to their personal emails about check in time because we want to be sure they know about it. We had been tried to contact this guest by email, by phone call and by SMS from the day he booked the room (2 months before). He never answered and we have not had any reply from him for the all time (2 months).

Mario was wonderful and had so many helpful recommendations to give us when checking in. The room was bigger and better than expected. The only complaint we have is that there was no A/C but we knew that going into. There is also a lot of traffic outside at night, so keeping the window open to cool the room isn’t such a great idea if you’re a light sleeper.

We really lucked in when we found L'Aranceto! It's a wonderful guest house in a fabulous location - only 30 minute walk to historic Florence. Nestled among some great restaurants, cafes and right by a grocery store. Domenico and Mario were wonderful hosts - extremely helpful with lots of practical information about the city. Would definitely stay there again!!

We booked as a couple and a teen son, and thought correspondence had confirmed our change in plans and that our 20s daughter would also join us. Upon arrival we were confused to have only beds for 3, but agreed on a price to add a fourth bed. At checkout, I didn’t go down and later found out my husband was charged more than agreed upon for the extra person. The stay was short, only two nights, but the attic apartment with private bath and kitchenette fit our needs well. We were visiting in April, with great spring weather, but ran the air con in the attic and wonder if the air conditioning would be sufficient in summer. Location was okay, very near a bus stop and a few restaurants. We had been warned to not stay in the city centre with a rental car, because of parking, but when we walked around much closer to the center there were spots to be found, and as we were there on a weekend they would have been free. Depending on the time of year and crowds, I’d likely choose to stay closer in to the main museums. The attic is accessed by stairs only, including a tight, wraught iron spiral variety, so it would be difficult for some to climb, or to get large luggage up.

WONDERFUL STAY!
This was such a perfect stay! The man was extremely friendly and welcoming to me and my friend as we got to Florence. He helped us with the bus and train system and made sure that we were always comfortable. Adorable guestroom and comfortable beds! Highly recommend to anyone that is traveling to Florence and needs a place to stay. :)

Not so good. We gently asked the hosts to receive our bags before check in time or give us a solution. But nothing happened. We asked the hosts how to get to the airport but didn’t explain how long could it take to wait for the shuttle or where to take it.

Beautiful room and home! Close to lots of things!
I am a young female and I was traveling throughout Europe on a solo trip! This guest house was close to a grocery store, restaurants, and a bus stop that took you all over Firenze including to the main train station and all of this was within a 2 minute walk! I felt extremely safe with the guys who ran the house and in the neighborhood. The owners also allow you to rent a bike from them so transportation was not an issue! The room was huge and the bed was nice. Two things that might be an inconvenience for some but not a major issue was: the shower was outside of the room as this was a guest house and not a hotel and there was some noise from the street right outside my window at night and in the morning. Other than that this was a wonderful place and you will enjoy your stay just as I did!

Nice hotel, slightly out of the main centre
We were greeted by a friendly host who helped with our bags to the room, gave us a city map and gave us some tips and directions to landmarks, public transport etc. Hotel is old but clean and comfortable It can be a bit noisy (thin walls, so you can hear every time people open abd close doors etc). GOod kitchen facilities. Good value for money

The price was incredible for a nice room. I liked having a complete kitchen and the patio area where I enjoyed my food and beverage. The owners were wonderful. They owner did everything to make my stay comfortable. They took the time to explain the local transportation and recommended restaurants. I over slept in on the last morning and missed the check out time. They did not try to rush me. Thank for an enjoyable stay in a wonderful city.

Kindness and flexiblity in Florence
We enjoyed staying at the guest house. The guy who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Kitchen was a little tight for more than a couple people wanting to prepare food and there were restrictive with only set times we could prepare meals in the kitchen which stressed me only slightly. They we're also most kind on letting us leave our bags while we finished our last day in Florence. Ever so grateful.

Convenient location and helpful staff.
The Apartment was easy to find with easy access pay parking on the street in front. The apartment itself was nothing fancy, but we chose it more for it's location and I would say that it met our expectations given the price point. The small outside patio was a nice touch and the air conditioning inside worked well. We received a dinner recommendation to a fantastic little restaurant around the corner called, "Ristorante Il Templari," that we can absolutely recommend. The service was exemplary, the food delicious and the pricing very reasonable. The apartment is located just 1km from the historic downtown core, which was fortunate because everywhere we went to get bus tickets seemed to be sold out, so we ended up just walking into the core and then busing back in the evening. All in all I'd say it was a very pleasant experience and would recommend you consider it as an option if you're looking for convenient, no-frills accommodation at an affordable price. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, apartment was safe and Florence is a lovely city to explore. Enjoy!

Great hotel, Domenic at the front desk is an absolute asset. Great suggestions about restaurants and travel around the Florence area. Was extremely helpful in providing the map and marking places of interest and the like. Great balancony area. Inexpensive place to stay. The washer is a huge asset when you have kids and clothes to wash. So you don't have to travel with much. It was a quick 10 min stop by taxi to the SMN train station. Bus stop on the parallel street that takes you right into town.

The room was too hot. Sleeping was uncomfortable. Couldn't open the window because of mosquitos. Windows should have screens. Nice large thick towels. On direct bus route to town which was convenient. Nice cafe around the corner.

The guesthouse is lovely, really friendly welcome from the owners who were very helpful and on hand for anything we needed assistance with. Comfy beds, big rooms, good shower, plenty of wardrobe space. 20 minute walk into the heart of Florence, with easy bus and taxi access. we had a great week staying there, thanks very much!
