It is an older property but has some interesting characteristics- we were upgraded to the penthouse suite and appreciated the quirkyness. The staff were very helpful.

Read the reviews before we booked but they were very misleading. The lady at reception was very lovely but … It was dated looking, safety chain was broken, window latch broken, rip in duvet cover, burn marks on floor, paint coming off cupboards and marks on walls. Cleanish but around plugs needed a good clean etc. Neighbours are long term motel accommodation and had horrendous fights both nights with swearing and screaming, drinking and loud music from early.

Staff were lovely. Not worth what we paid for it. The room was super hot on arrival. Room was not very clean at all, scuff marks all over the walls, dirty light switches, spa bath started out nice but then as soon as we turned it on the jets had some kind of weird dirty stuff come out of them. Left air con on but that seemed to make the fire alarm beep every 10 seconds. Bed was not a king sized bed. No way to keep bathroom cool, toilet was super hot as it had been closed the whole time and there was no window. Loved that we had a balcony.

location good for what we needed. wasn’t up to standards regarding cleaning. Old buildings. Bed was very hard. Room EXTREMELY hot when we arrived, maybe opening the space up & letting in fresh air before a quest arrives might be more appealing, especially in summer. Shower head old & not working properly.

The property itself was fine for my needs. What really spoilt my stay was a group of men who sat directly outside my window, loudly discussing the merits of various cars - using booming voices (yes, alcohol was probably involved) and a very limited vocabulary!

Park-lane motor inn close to our appointment at greenlane hospital so I booked a unit queen 2bd then offered me upgrade $20.more penthouse with spa-bath sound great But up narrow stairs room with broken tv no sky connection cracked bathroom spa-bath I had to clean & we moved small table to be near power points as was in silly place good view & nice deck & large room But does need work outside need tidy up & no staff front desk only ph number 2get staff check in mid week stay 19-20 April 2023

Worst Experience in a long time
This place is definitely not a 4 star location. Conference room had stacks of mouldy bread, rubbish skips were visible and overloaded. Noisy over night, couldnt wait to leave

The property needs a lot of love and attention. The people that checked us in were very nice and they were dealing with a lot due to recent flooding. But the lodge needs tided up a lot, its very dated and old. Also the cleaning products leave an unpleasant smell.

At over $200 a night this is defiantly not a cheap place to stay. For this price I expect quite abit - cleanliness, tidy etc. However I was quite disappointed by the state of this venue. The grounds were very dirty and unkept - broken bits of furniture, empty bottles, general garden rubbish and messy gardens. The pool was full of garden waste and old bottles. The room where we stayed was a good size however, was in quite bad condition. The curtains were only just hanging onto the rods, paint was peeling, kitchen area dirty, chipped cups, and dirty carpet. The rom also had abit of a funky smell. I understand that there has been some extremely bad weather and the floods have caused some major issues, but there is no excuses for this property to look like this

The property has been very neglected, the swimming pool was dirty and green, there was mould in the room, gardens need weeding, the toilet seat was loose and we found blood on our duvet. It eas very disapponting

Faulty light fittings.Issue with working the TV ,hugely frustrating as no instr6.Staff were most helpful.Basic maintenance lacking lubricating taps and shower valves which is easy if you stay on top of it.

So so disappointed. When we got there the owners had their family in rooms which then knocked us all out of where we were staying. My kids were separated from us in a different room. No smoke alams. Dirty on the inside, cockroachs, fat stains, stains on carpet. Horrible smell when we entered the room. The pool was green and the yard was so unkept. I do not recommend this place one little bit. Feel like youve had at least 2 years during covid to clean that place up. Could be mint but it was terrible.

Be aware — no AC. Only one person at reception. Very nice lady but she disappears and there is no way to contact her. Twice we waited 15 minutes for her to return to the desk — including when we needed to check in.

Pros: kind receptionist Cons: booked a suite and it was 1/10 overall. Sheets and top blanket were dirty, spots of blood all over them, carpet was filthy and had an iron burn, the smell of the room was not great. There was no aircon only a dirty dusty fan. We asked to switch rooms and was moved to the “penthouse” - this room was tidier, everything from light switches to looks were old or rusty, there were old smoke butts on the balcony, looks like the cleaners don’t do a good job, first night a cockroach was in the bed. People in another room were blasting their music from 9pm to 5am the next morning!!! There are no curtains for the sky roof, so during summer it’s BRIGHT from 5am. Only positive was the aircon. We got this room based on how many stars, but realised this was from VERY old reviews. Would not recommend.

The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a very convenient position. When we were staying other guests were outside talking loudly from 5.55am. Room was clean in kitchen & bathroom. Table had not been wiped down.

Good sized family room with a deck, would be great in summer. Clean bed linen. Kitchen had all that was needed for some self-catering. Walking distance to a supermarket and a wide choice of places to eat.
