We have stayed here many times this weekend was a girls trip for slush cup 2024 this place never disappoints we love it here. Breakfast options are great

There was very little parking which made it difficult in the ice and getting luggage in on the ice and snow. The place is beautiful. The heat just never came on in our room. Without the portable heater we would have froze. Thankful they provided that!

Thank you Kristen for your response. The side lot and the street have parking, you're free to park anywhere near or around the area. It is April and we still have snow here in Alaska, its just a part of daily living. The vent may have been closed, did you close or try opening it? We provide heaters and blankets as everyone has a different idea of what is warm to them. Thank you for your stay. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

This was a charming space with a shared living area on the first floor. I was pleasantly surprised with a thoughtful breakfast selection of bagels, butter/cream cheese, yogurts, fruit, juice and coffee. Snacks such as granola bars and chips were also available. I enjoyed chatting with other guests in this space and sharing our travel experiences and suggestions. Parking was right in front and a selection of restaurants were in walking distance.

This has been the BEST place we've stayed so far on our trip to Alaska. Everything is very clean, beautiful furnishings, lovely kitchen area with everything we need for breakfast and snacks. Plenty of washrags, towels, extra blankets,etc. The only thing I gave a 4star rating for was the parking lot. There had been a big winter storm and none of us could find a shovel or anything to help us get our cars out of the parking lot. Some guests struggled as they had to make it to the airport. Once several of us were able to get our cars out of the way, at some point, someone came along and plowed the parking lot - then it was all fine. But other than that minor issue, we LOVED our stay. Highly recommend!

This was our third stay in the hotel. We simply love it. Great location, close to the ski resort, restaurants and grocery just minutes away. Each time we stayed there, we got different room. One very small with shared bathroom/shower, two others with private bathroom and fridge, one of them with TV too. They are still quite small but for 2 people enough. Maybe huge luggages would create some move-around problems, but we had 2 carry-on luggages and small backpacks (left the large luggage in the car). The common area is nice, you can meet other people and also have breakfast as the fridge has bagels, yogurts, jam, butter, cheese spread, also nice selection of coffees. It's quiet in there and warm. We will stay there again.

The Ski Inn was amazing! It was incredibly safe, clean, easy to get to, quiet, and the bed was so comfortable after a long ski day! The shower was so hot and had great water pressure. The staff was very friendly and the complementary snacks/breakfast was much appreciated. Just a short drive from the resort. I’m already planning my trip for next year! Look no further!

Girdwoods Best
Great atmosphere, food, and conversation. Amazing views of the mountain. We loved the cozy living room. Coffee was amazing, awesome Jira coffee system.

Clean and quiet room with free breakfast.
I stayed one night at Ski Inn. There is a free breakfast. Clean and quiet room. Short distance to Alyeska Resort. I will book more nights next time when I will be in the area.

This is an amazingly comfortable inn! Troy and other staffs are very friendly and helpful. 24 hours access to snacks and hot/cold drink. Homey living room provides after ski relaxing time. South face room has high sealing and thick carpet so it was super comfortable despite the smallest size. I definitely will come back !!!

Easy check in and out. Needs updating, cramped room for 2 Queen Beds. Shower makes a big mess, had to use a few towels for puddles. Faucet in the bathroom needs repair, it’s wiggly and unstable. Beds are decent &comfortable. Good selection for free breakfast bars, drinks and other snacks. Convenient if you need last minute items from a small store next door.

Sorry that didn't work out for you Zen. We found the culprit! There was a power cable taken from the room for the TV. Who takes a power cable? Honestly? And yes, humbly agree, too much snow everywhere around. Thank you for spending your new year's with us.

Cozy Staycation!
Our second stay at the Ski Inn and it was wonderful as usual. This was a staycation for us before Christmas and glad we did it with the Ski Inn. Very much appreciate them being pet friendly and I hope they continue to allow pets. It is a cozy, affordable lodging option that we will always go back to. Looking forward to staying here again!

It was terrible because you didn't follow the instructions on how to check-in as you divulged via phone call. Due to no other description we are to believe this is the reason as you also said that you didn't get into the room till 7am. Better luck in your adventures.

There are multiple stairs into the building and down to our room. It made it difficult to transport our luggage. The room was very small as was the bathroom. We had to shoehorn in are two suitcases.

Greetings Mary. Your room is located on the first floor and there is a small stair set to get into the building. The Ski Inn is an Inn, and we do advertise that more 5 of the 8 rooms are not a standard hotel room size. Thus, we charge 1/3 of the cost.Thank you for your stay, we hope you enjoyed Alaska.

The front desk was supposed to be staffed during stated hours, never found a person. The rugs/floor had not been vacuumed, and dirty linens in the loft. However, the sheets were clean, the bed comfortable, the shower amazing, and I appreciated the washer/dryer!
