Beautiful, convenient apartments, nice pool & view
My second stay here, and my first since they remodeled from a B&B to independent apartments. Wonderful, friendly management, whom I have known since my first stay years ago. Beautifully outfitted apartments with every convenience; lovely pool with view overlooking the sea. Steps away from a local beach, slightly longer walk to others. A few hundred meters from train station; bus stop is near the Villa (for access to Taormina up the hill... or you can ascend the stair/path up the hill on foot, and descend as well.) Villa degli Ulivi is an excellent choice for visiting Taormina or Giardini-Naxos.

The property was clean and spacious, large rooms, kitchen and balcony. The property manager was very nice, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. The only negative comment was the pillows and mattress. We could feel the springs in the mattress, I think I still have coil marks on my body.

Lovely place in the outside of the noisy city. Amazing gardens and great friendly staff. Will give you great tips and help with tours. Also, the best sleep I’ve had during my Europe trip. Also, right next to the train station. And you can go up to Taormina in a simple bus.

A lovely place convenient for exploring Taormina
We stayed 3 days here on our fly drive trip to Sicily, end of May. We received a warm and friendly welcome from our host who gave us tips on what to see in the area. Free parking on the busy road. Sea view and a walk to a small beach with café nearby which we enjoyed. Short drive to beautiful Taormina (If you don't have a car there are buses nearby). Breakfast outside overlooking the bay. Difficult to find fault. It is on a busy road and the train line is busy too, but we slept well. We loved our stay and hope to return again.

Villa Ulivi in June
Very friendly and warm people, feeling almost like at home. Though the place is not in Taormina, one can be in town with a 15-20 minutes walk and less to Isola Bella. Parking is available off road so that the place is good as a starting point for excursions around (Etna, Noto, Siracusa,...).

Lovely B&B in Taormina
We had a fantastic stay! Gaetano, the owner was extremely accommodating. We arrived late and he helped us order a pizza and set up a table for us to eat at 11:00 at night! Room was large, comfortable and clean. Lovely large bathroom. All was newly renovated. Gaetano was extremely helpful with directions, what to see including places away from the crowds in Taormina. Location was excellent, only a few minutes drive from town. Overall a wonderful stay!

No parking, had to park on side of busy highway. Housekeeper was a little nosy. This is not a hotel, it is actually a bed and breakfast. No toiletries such as shampoo or soap.

Good option if you need parking
On a main road and near railway line but windows were good and not too noisy. There is a bus going by but it is clearly better if you have a car. Hotel staff went out of their way to come back to the hotel to pick up our things at the end of the day. I think it is an older building so my room was a bit musty. Breakfast on the terrace was nice.

Delightful B&B
Lovely little place handy for the train station and beach. A steep walk up into Taormina, but then everything in town tends to be high end prices and the local buses run until 1am

Dejlig lejlighed i fin stand med adgang til pool og tæt på strand. Rammen om et rigtigt fint ophold for os. Værterne var venlige og fleksible f.eks. i fht. sen ankomst. Dog en smule for dyrt. Nogen trafikstøj som dog kun høres fra terassen og ikke fra lejligheden.

Das B&B liegt direkt neben einer sehr stark befahrene Hauptstraße. Tag und Nacht brausen Autos und Autobusse vorbei. Was vor allem daran sehr störend ist, ist nicht unbedingt der Lärm, da die Türen offensichtlich mit einer Lärmschutzverglasung ausgestattet sind, sondern die andauernde Belästigung und der Gestank der Autoabgase,.da Autos und auch viele Motorräder mit hoher Geschwindigkeit durchrasen. Auf der anderen Seite der Straße befindet sich noch eine Häuserzeile und danach führen gleich die Bahngleise vorbei, wobei auch die Bahn selbst immer wieder für Lärm sorgt. Ein weiterer Punkt ist das seheeeeer kärgliche Frühstück. Es gab hauptsächlich verpackte Kekse oder Kuchen, ein paar Stücke Obst und auf Verlangen Joghurt. Da ich beides nicht so gerne zum Frühstück habe, sondern lieber ein Weckerl mit Schinken und/oder Käse, habe ich am zweiten Tag EIN HALBES WECKERL in halbzentimeter dünne Scheiben geschnitten mit einem kleinen Blatt Schinken und zwei kleinen ScheibchenbKäse bekommen. Auf Verlangen um Nachschlag hieß es, dass nichts mehr da ist. Das ist für mich KEIN Frühstück, da ich das für mich als Hauptmahlzeit des Tages ansehe und ich anderswo frühstücken musste. Dazu habe ich aber kein Zimmer MIT Frühstück gebucht!!!! Für mich sind das genügend Gründe, auf keinen Fall mehr dort zu übernachten.

Hôtel le long d'une route très fréquentée, de jour comme de nuit, pas de place de parking, pas de voie piétonne. Je ne ferais pas de séjour de plusieurs jours dans cet hôtel.

Gradevole residenza a un passo da Taormina
Vista sulla baia di Giardini Naxos. Taormina e le sue belle spiagge a pochissima distanza. Colazione servita da Rosy e dal titolare Gaetano in un sereno clima di cordialità. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Villa ristrutturata di recente con gusto.

Situé en bordure d’une route nationale. Mais avec la climatisation, il n’y a pas bruit. Chambre correcte mais style un peu vieillot. Salle de bain de même. Proprio sympathique. Avons séjourné une nuit.

God til prisen - men kun for 1 bat
Dejlig udsigt men lige op af en meget trafikeret vej med meget støj fra både biler og jernbane! Knap så gode sengekomfort plaget af meget syntetiske sengelinned! Til gengæld super søde værtsfolk og rimelig morgenmad

Muy agradable y muy buen servicio
Si vas a Taormina en auto, es muy buena alternativa, quedas a poca distancia de la ciudad, del puerto y para parquear el auto en el hotel se deja al frente y no hay problema, para ir a la ciudad, subes por una carretera y llegas a los parqueaderos publico con tíquete de pago. La pasamos muy bien.

Great Stay
Could not have been better! A car is necessary according to me, 5 minutes drive from Taormina and 5 from the beach. Great location, great service, the couple agreed to get up an hour earlier to make us breakfast as we had a busy day planned ahead! I highly recommend it

Les chambres sont très grandes avec beaucoup d'espace. La literie est de bonne qualité et très propre. Pour le mobilier c'est en état d'usage mais assez usé (peu important pour courts séjour) Prix abordable Service excellente, et personnels très bien sympa et acceillant (parlant En/It, seulement) Je recommande fortement.

Eccellente ospitalità
Delizioso B&B comodissimo come punto di partenza per numerose escursioni, quali ad esempio Taormina, l'Etna, le Gole dell'Alcantara, gli splendidi paesini medioevali dei monti Nebrodi. Anche senza mezzi propri a pochi passi c'è l'autobus per varie destinazioni (compreso l'aeroporto di Catania) e la stazione ferroviaria. Le spiagge di Giardini Naxos sono raggiungibili a piedi in pochi minuti. Colpisce molto l'estrema gentilezza e disponibilità del titolare, Sig. Gaetano, a ogni richiesta. Sempre pronto a offrire i suoi consigli di viaggio, ma mai invadente e di grande simpatia. Pulizia eccellente, effettuata ogni giorno con letto rifatto e cambio biancheria da bagno. Ottime colazioni con torte casalinghe e miele di produzione propria. Le camere sono nuove, graziosamente arredate, con doppi vetri e climatizzazione.

Vanskelig beliggenhet. Ingen tilgang på butikker i nærområdet for å kjøpe mat/drikke. Hotellet kunne ikke selge drikke og tilsvarende. Langt å gå til Taormina og Naxos. Betjeningen var lite imøtekommende. Valgte å bytte til hyggelig hotell i Taormina. Dersom du ikke tenker budsjett så styr unna..

Nice and simple - what a view!
A very friendly staff and a fantastic ocean view makes this B&B a good opportunity when visiting Giardini Naxos or Taormina. It is also at a fair price - the only negative thing is difficult parking opportunities that may give you a small walk from the B&B to your car.

Maison magnifique, avec terrasse et jardin face à la mer. Possibilité de stationner en face, ce qui doit être rarissime pour Taormina. Bon accueil mais petite déception concernant la chambre : 2 lits supplémentaires très disparates et la décoration, pas à la hauteur de l'extérieur... Pas grave pour 1 nuit. Eviter de prendre la voiture pour aller en ville, trafic démentiel !!!

Nice view and friendly staff
From the hotel you have a nice view over the bay and nearby villages - but also quite a lot noise from the traffic! The small, local beach is within 5-10 minutes walking distance from the hotel, and it makes for a great stop in the afternoon after a day full of sightseing. You can also reach Taormina by foot - it's a fairly steep road up from the sea, it takes about 20-30 minutes, but once you make it to the top the view is fantastic. Lastly, the staff is very friendly, however some of them speak very little English.

Ottimo soggiorno anche se solo per una notte, Gaetano (titolare) e' un bravissimo padrone di casa. Da non perdere la torta fatta in casa.....buonissima. Servizio eccellente.
