I think that you may have us confused with a different hotel on your trip as we do have an elevator and it has not been out of service for quite some time.

I like the attention to safety. I liked that the pillows were marked according to firmness. Problem: The air conditioner in the room was loud and the direction of the blower could not be adjusted. De-caffeinated coffee was not available.

The bed was so hard as to be painful. Had two nights booked. Was able to cancel the next night but did not get a refund. Will not use Expedia or Holiday Inn Express in the future.

We stayed in a king room on 3rd floor. The bed in this hotel was probably the worst bed I’ve ever slept in. The place is very nice and staff was great but beds awful.

Would recommend
We ended up staying due to blizzard conditions on our route home. Us and our 16 month old. It was comfortable enough for us and had a bath tub to bathe the baby. We were right across from the elevator, which I thought would be noisy, but it wasn't too bad. Overall good stay. While i don't see us needing to stay in Hays again, i would definitely recommend this place.

Very nice and clean. Easy access. Friendly staff. Lighting in the bathroom was the only thing that wasn’t good. They need to add another light or maybe brighter light bulbs.
