6 Days On Business in Durres, Albania
We stayed 6 days to complete our business and enjoyed the central location and the good food in the restaurant and the very friendly waiters who served us, each day. Our room cleaning was especially encouraging as each day we returned after breakfast to a nice clean and tidy room and bathroom.

The hotel is very nice but what puts this apart from any other hotel is the staffs friendliness and helpfulness, we arrived early to check in but they managed to speed up the preparation of the room so we could get it early. They were helpful and made us feel super welcome, they helped with recommendations for eating vegetarian. The room was clean and fresh and spacious with a desk and minibar. The serving staff was so friendly both during dinner and breakfast. The food was very good.

Great place for a short stay
Perfect location and very well appointed in a traditional style. Staff were very helpful but the breakfast was disappointing (needs some buffet options) and the air conditioning was under central control.

The hotel and rooms are beautiful. It is on the main boulevard within walking distance of most every historical spot plus shops. Don’t be discouraged by the street parking. Spots open up quickly as people come and go (the hotel has a small private parking area but first you need to get in to register and be shown the way). The food was fantastic and inexpensive compared to US prices. I also had an excellent massage after walking 10 hours the day before. It’s a man street in the city- if like some hustle and bustle (without the constant horns and sirens of NYC) this might be the place for you.

You won't be disappointed in choosing Hotel Epidam
A luxurious modern boutique hotel, Venetian and Baroque style in the heart of Durres with the most wonderfully warm and friendly vibe. The rooms are very spacious, we booked a room with a balcony overlooking Durres, the room was spacious with the most incredible balcony. Highest quality of linens and heavenly beds, we definitely slept peacefully each night. There is a restaurant with the most delicious food, we dined most days during our stay. Menu caters for all, including traditional Albanian cuisine and Asian delights, including Sushi. The à la carte breakfasts were amazing with a great selection of choices, one of the best breakfasts we have been lucky enough to enjoy in Albania. In addition to the restaurant, there is the most wonderful indoor garden that oozes great design and a real hidden-gem and palm tree-lined dining area outdoors to enjoy the local life go by. Great for coffee and cocktails too. We really enjoyed our week, and feeling the warmth of the team every day, they were full of smiles and great service. You won't be disappointed in choosing Hotel Epidamn for your stay in Durres, we loved it so much we extended our stay 3 days.

Fantastic Option
Beautifully appointed hotel, perfect location. Staff extremely helpful. Onsite restaurant had great choices. The basic room was adequate, small but quaint. A couple of little things like a lightbulb burnt, satellite TV not working. But overall, excellent option for the price. We ended up staying 4 more nights!

This is a new small boutique hotel with a bar and coffee house where every attention to detail has been made. Breakfast is chosen from a limited a la carte menu which was delicious. Dietary requirements are well catered for. I am Coeliac and had no problems. We booked 2 nights but stayed for another 5. Staff speak English and we were offered several room options after our initial booking. Rooms/bathroom were spotless. Shower was powerful and hot water plentiful. More geared to business clients on the whole. Cocktails in the Garden Room of the bar were amazing and cheap. No tourist maps of area and receptionist had to send us elsewhere to find out about tours. No sun terrace which was a slight negative for us but we knew this before we arrived. However the promenade is only a 5 minute walk or a family beach 1.5 km away at the opposite side of the port. Hotel is right in the centre of the city on a smart boulevard so good for night life. Location is spot on. Hotel bar seems to be the place to be seen for rich, trendy locals in Durres.

Reading other reviews definitely lead us to a decision we regret so I feel I have to give the real picture on this hotel. The food is terrible, not what they are showing on social media . The staff super unprofessional and young. Sadly we booked a massage, it’s the worst massage I ever had and I don’t understand how they can charge or offer this service for their guest. The main one is the absolutely unbelievable level of noise. The restaurant downstairs blasts out music all day and all evening. There are outdoor speakers which are mounted on the outside walls of the rooms and they are clearly audible in the rooms. At the weekend, they added a totally unnecessary amplifier to this noise and it became absolutely unbearable. The bass could be felt through the floorboards. There simply are no quiet rooms here… both sides of the hotel are subject to this noise because of the restaurants “garden”. Live music one night was blasted out onto the street from the hotels own restaurant until 11:10pm. Another it was dance music until the same time There are other minor annoyances too which affect the overall quality. The parking can only be accessed or exited by getting a member of staff to come along with pliers and other tools to open the gate. The breakfast is not great: a la carte selections which leave much to be desired.

Un superbe établissement en plein centre-ville. L'hôtel est neuf, les chambres sont belles avec salle de bain en marbre et dotées d'une literie remarquable. Situé sur un axe très animé - notamment le soir - il est possible d'être gêné par le bruit extérieur, malgré des fenêtres à double vitrage.

Worse experience in Albania
The room was poorly cleaned. Dust on the furnitures and hairs in the sink. Mirrors not clean. They have a no disturb rule after 23.00 but the hade crazy load music in the outdoor bar much later. Not possible to sleep. Caljwd the reception to tell them to please think about the guests but no answer. Went down in my robe just to find the reception staff in the bar digging the music. That's why no one answered. Finally they turn the music down. I booked the Svit in the top floor and still up there was Super noisy during the whole night from barking stray dogs,bcs of poor acoustic isolation. The breakfast was super bad. Only bye order and the omelett was the driest i ever had. I ordered a chocolate brioche and hot a cream instead. At least the coffee and juice was good. I was out on the beach all day , came back to pick something up frim my room att 14. Still not cleaned. I asked them why it wasn't cleaned: ohh we will send someone now. No new shower gel or shampoo. Hade to tell them about that aswell when i was In the shower in the evening. New night same disturbance from there selfmade bar disco. This time at least someone answered the phone in the reception. They turned down the music Next morning I asked for som plain eggs, sunny side up. Anyone can make eggs Right?!? No , they came Nuked. Super dry and hard. No brioche again. The juice was from the day before, super thick and started to taste funky. This hotel doesn't deserve there ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The staff and chef need to step up

Hotel situato in ottima posizione. Arredamento molto bello, forse curerei un pizzichino in più la pulizia. Ma nel complesso hotel consigliato. Staff gentile e disponibile. Colazione buona ( anche se alcune volte abbiamo atteso veramente molto ) ma non ci sono opzioni vegane.

Rekommenderas varmt
Ett litet stycke Paris i Albanien. Vacker byggnad, smakfullt och fräscht rum, välstädat, bra läge för att upptäcka staden nära amfiteatern på paradgata. Vänlig och service minded personal. Egen parkering bakom hotellet. Väldigt bra restaurang. Långt från stranden så taxi för ca 7€ enkel väg krävs.

Great location and wonderful staff!
Great location when you want to stay in the centers. The staff is amazing thanks to Bessi & Andy for being so helpful and always happy. The hotel has everything you need and the food and coffee is super! Didn't try the haman but next time definitely. There can be some noises but when staying in the city. The hotel stop playing music around 11 in the evening. The dogs that barking it is nothing to do about and not a problem for me. Overall this is a great place and if I come again this will be the place!

Probably best choice in Durres
Epidamn hotel is stylish snad modern, probably best in this part of town. Decent served breakfast, professional staff, comfortable bed, cheap restaurant, smart TV (small but smart) , expensively looking decorations, but still Albania. Electricity have peaks, sometimes water is not available, view from window to other is sad..
