"Lovely boutique style hotel. Very nice. Only thing I would have liked was more electric hookups compatible with US plugs. Only one in our room was in the bathroom and we did not have a converter. We bought one. The breakfast buffet was very good; Gustavo in the kitchen very nice and Sylvania at the lobby desk (and another fellow I cannot recall his name) very nice and helpful. "

"The style was an interesting blend of Scottish+70s funk+something else. I love that on every floor there is a Nespresso and tea corner with cookies and marshmallows to enjoy. The breakfast was very Spanish. Our balcony was there, but was tiny. The location was wonderful, right in the heart of the old city and next to the metro station."

"Most friendly staff I have ever experienced at a hotel. Well decorated with 60’s lobby furniture. Convent buffet restaurant right next to the lobby. Room not the most updated but clean and suitable. 10 min walk to las ramblas. Very quiet place. Terrace was nice. 7th floor, top floor. 10Euro cab ride from cruise ship. Cozy sushi restaurant 300 feet from front door. Would recommend and would book again. "

"Great location. I really loved the area with lots of lovely bars, cafe and restaurants nearby to the hotel. The staff were wonderful and the room was spotless. Check out at 12pm also useful and was I able to leave my bags for several hours in the secure luggage area until I was ready to leave for the airport. Would definitely go back and stay again. The pool is too small to swim in but a welcome place to cool off in if it’s hot. "

"We booked this hotel mainly because of the location - which was absolutely ideal. It is right in the busiest part of Barcelona on La Rambla, so surrounded by plenty of shops, restaurants etc. It was around a couple minutes walk to the metro, buses and city hop on/ off buses. Location is great - just note that of course this means you can still hear a lot of street noise from the rooms. The staff at the reception were always very polite, friendly and helpful.
