The hotel is located in a basement. It is great if you only want a place to stay and have good breakfast. The staff are friendly. They only provided one small pillow, more like a cushion. The night staff provided me with an extra pillow. the management should look into providing better pillows. Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is good. Conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and the metro. Will I stay there again? Yes but they need to provide more and better pillows.

Great value for money for what is offered - A quiet and easily accessible basic offering. The only issue is the Wifi doesn't work and the cleaners did not visit, other than that it was a great stay.

Sun was shining
I had a nice time, however I think that the hotel would benefit by putting a sign explaining to the other guests that people go to hotels to sleep and that it would be advisable not to make too much noise when they come in the late evening.

Cheap hotel, works nice for a day or two. Dont stay if your sound sensitive. Doors dont quite keep all sound away, you can actually hear everything happening in the hallway. The hotel consists of one hallway only. Breakfast alright and nice bed.

Great Value!
Great value for the price. Rooms are a little small and chilly at night time but all you need for a day of exploring. Good price, clean, safe, and even comes with a private bathroom which I find to be rare when traveling in this area. We went to Gamla Stan and toured around Old town for the day and night and were able to catch the nearby subway right around the corner, very convenient location.

Quiet Hotel Steps from everywhere.
The Sofo is really close to everything thanks to being just one major block from the T-bana at Skanstull. It also has access to the bus lines which will take you up to Slussen and you can then transfer to pretty much anywhere. The hotel itself is located in the basement of a building off a quiet side street. It uses a coded entry and the door is always locked. Which is nice because you don't have to worry about people coming in and out who aren't staying at the hotel. Once inside, you do have to walk down steps to enter, so if you are unable to do that, or navigate with your luggage, that is something to consider. The lobby is also where you have morning frukost (breakfast). And I have to tell you it's delicious. They have a fantastic amount of food they put out. You should be able to find something to eat. I was amazed for the price of what I paid that the breakfast was so generous. The check-in desk is just in the hallway, once you get your key just head to your room. Mine was just across the hall almost. My room was ample for one person, with a great bathroom. They clean your room daily. Also amazing for the price paid. My only complaint is that the room door is a little thin, so any noise in the hallway you could hear quite loudly. However, I solved that with a pair of earplugs and not a problem. Otherwise. Had a really great sleep, great room.

Exactly what we wanted.
Great stay in a trendy location. Walking distance from most activities. Room was small but that was expected. It was comfy and very clean. Breakfast was great and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Very ordinary hotel for the price
The stay was very ordinary. The room was small, very limited electric sockets. Apparently there was only one in the room and another one in the bath. The one in the room not near the bed. The room was not cleaned unless requested for my stay of 4 days it is required to clean. The breakfast was very bad. very limited options and not well arranged. I had to ask for the tissues, salt and pepper etc

Basement hotel. Downtown.
This was the my worst hotel experience so far. And I travel alot to Sweden. If I could go back in time, I would sleep in the street rather than this hotel. The hotel is basically a basement. Rooms are very cold. No heat at all, temperature in room was around 2 C. It is very noisy. As a matter of fact you could hear the breathing of the people next room. Staff are friendly, if you have blue eyes! They tell you breakfast is included in price: Of course it is, because it is very cheap.

Every hostel room is in better than this.
Terrible hotel. Would never go back. The rooms were dirty, the bathroom was covered in hair when I arrived. They never cleaned it up. Rooms are tiny and no windows. I stayed there in October and had to put street clothes on at night since the room was freezing.

Perfect Spot to Rest/Recuperate
Fabulous updated little basement style hotel with comfortable beds/linens/fluffy comforters and great bathroom w/a large showerhead. Staff was helpful during the check-in process but even more so because I did this previously through Expedia.com. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that a nice Swedish style breakfast was included. Wifi included, which made it great for catching up on work emails. Interior is like that of a Moroccan enclave.

My room had no windows, in fact I think it was underground. And it was pretty small, but the bathroom was uncomfortably small. I had to shower standing sideways to avoid hitting my arms on the walls/glass doors when washing. Tiniest bathroom I've seen and just not very functional. And without natural lighting and not great room lighting I felt like I was trapped in a dank tiny room. At least it was just one night. It was clean enough and served its purpose for sleeping, but....From what I understood there was no staff on hand after 10pm. And when I asked them if they could put a postcard in the mail for me with their mail, they seemed resentful. Weird.

Interesting underground hotel
Hotel staff was extremely helpful. We arrived well before the check in time and they stored our bags for us so we could explore without it's cumbersome weight. When disaster struck and one of our flights were cancelled they printed our new confirmation documents for us, easing a very stressful situation for which we are so grateful! The rooms are a smallish size however are great if you just want a place to sleep and shower and are overall quite comfortable. After nearly 30hours in transit to get to Sweden the massive showerhead was a wekcome comfort! The lack of windows works in your favour in the summer allowing you to sleep even when the sun is still hih in the sky (whuch let's be honest is most if the time) The breakfast buffet had a great high quality selection! The hotel is at a great location 5 minutes from Skanstull train station making it easy to get to most locations in Stockholm. It us only two stops from Slussen where you can catch the ferry to Djurgården, and only three stops from Gamla Stan, the old town.

OK for light travellers/solo
The hotel is located in a trendy area in a basement with modern interiors. Me and my partner stayed in a double room and were pretty disappointed by the lack of storage space (there wasn't any). The room basically has a double bed, tiny desk with flat screen tv above it and a small bathroom with a sink so small it was merely impossible to not create an ocean. We had issues with the key card and there were 2 power cuts within a couple of hours. This being said, if you're in Stockholm for business or travelling very light, the hotel is fine. We didn't try the breakfast so have no comments on it.
