I totally recommend my staying last minute before I head back to the village, I put a special request for breakfast since I was a vegan. They literally had my foods ready as I went to breakfast. Strongly would come back when I go visit the city

Good value for money hotel, well located in D1 in Saigon, hotel is very clean, maid service every day clean towels etc, the lady on reception desk was very helpful and pleasant. If anything the beds were a bit hard but it seemed to of fixed my sore back. I would recommend this hotel who is on a budget.

Rooms are renovated, everything in room and bathroom is new. Aircon is effective and very adjustable, you can vary it. Entire hotel is very clean, staff is always cleaning everywhere. Very good value for the price, it is as good or better than other hotels I have stayed at in HCMC which cost a lot more. Staff is very friendly and very helpful.

I had a great experience at Thien Hai Hotel. The room matched with my needs, and the staff is remarkable. Especially the smart and kind lady at the reception because she answered all my questions, questions people asked at all time I guess, but she stayed professional and patient. Also, the breakfast is well balanced. Great time in HCMC and with the super nice Vietnamese culture.

Excellent location. Within walking distance to Ben Thành market, Independence Palace, restaurants. Good breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful. However, rooms are smaller than expected and the A/C is not adjustable.

There are no tissue boxes, no room clock, and no outlets by a table. Considering affordable room rate, those are OK. There are two water bottles in a fridge. I thought they were free. But they were charged at chehck-out. Surprise surprise! The hotel is located in a convenient area for dinning and shopping.

We picked this property because of the great reviews. It turns out the property is pretty much as described, If not better. The property is not big but has pretty much everything that we needed . The staff are very helpful. The second that our taxi arrived at the door. The doorman would come out to help us to carry all the luggage. The room size is just about right. Very clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast is very simple. but very fresh and tasty. We enjoyed it very much. The location is very central. Right next to a convenient store. Walking distance to all the local tourist companies and eateries. Highly recommended for laser and business travelers.

We like the walking distance to the beach and the beach view from the balcony. What we didn’t like was the website claimed you check in with smart-lock. This was not true. We had to call and waited for someone to come take us up to our rooms. The AC in the living room did not have a remote control; because we arrived around midnight we didn’t want to call again we text to ask about it. The next day They texted back asking if we’ve found it when in fact it’s the same remote control used for the AC in the bedrooms. We had the bedroom with the bathroom installed. It has a super small sink in the, there’s not enough room to wash your face without hitting your head on the rack above your head (the rack holds soap and shampoo bottles). We also did not appreciate the shower as it had only hot water. The knob to turn on/off the water was so difficult to turn. There was also no hook or towel bar to hang towels or clothes which was very inconvenient. You’ll need hang the towel on the door knob and try to keep it from falling off onto the wet floor. You’ll need to be creative placing your clothes somewhere so they don’t get wet.

The hotel staff was exceptional. We requested an airport pickup through Expedia messaging for $20 USD and they took care of it for us. They had great excursion recommendations thru Kim travel and we booked Cuchi tunnels and Makong delta trips for about $24ea and $30ea USD respectively. The room was a little small with bars on the window and we had tiny micro insects (ants i think) on and around the desk. We didn't have any bites. As a side note, we got a foot massage across the street at the second massage shop and they asked us to pre-pay and after the massage they gave us a recommended tip guide for the service 100k-500k (i think). We've never had a massage place ask us to pre-pay and try to coerce a larger tip. I gave them 80k and show my wallet was empty. We'd stay here again for the exceptional staff and good breakfast.

Enjoyed staying at this hotel. My only complaint comes with construction and very loud banging in the early hours of the morning. Other than that, would stay here again. Staff very friendly.

In a good location with lots of food options nearby that are 24 hours, the room was clean (I’ve had bad luck with this in other Saigon hotels) and the staff was very kind, friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Generally solid hotel. The location was good, easy walking distance to most things in District 1 a tourist would want to see, right across the street from a great spa and two blocks from a great craft brewery. My main gripe is that we booked two different room types, one "superior" 18sqm and another "deluxe" 24sqm... and the rooms were basically the same size. The 24 certainly didn't feel like it was 24, though I did not bring out the measuring tape. The noise isolation of the rooms leaves something to be desired, too, both from the outside world for "city view" rooms and between rooms. The showerhead was overdue for a serious CLR scrubbing, but otherwise the room was clean. Breakfast was not as extensive as other Vietnam hotels we stayed at, but adequate. I'd give this hotel a solid B rating - enough things are going well that it's a good place the stay (especially for solo travelers), but a number of not-so-minor things raised an eyebrow too.

Good location and room
Good size room with hot water shower, TV, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The only thing that let it down was the mattress. We both like a firm mattress and been travelling asia for 4 months so used to hard mattresses but this was the hardest we have slept on. It was bot too bad the first night but after the second my back started to feel it and after the 3rd so did my husbands. Would be lots better with a mattress topper

This hotel is in the heart of the Ben Thanh District, near a park, the Ben Thanh market, many restaurants. Clean, comfortable, definitely Vietnamese in terms of amenities (don't expect the frills offered in the US), reasonably priced, and a breakfast buffet. Staff is friendly and helpful. Next door to a 24/7 mini-market type store in case you get midnight cravings for a snack or something to drink. There are a lot of tourists in the area, but it is possible to walk a short distance and avoid them. It's only a mile or less to many museums.

A plus for all. This building is fully protected and equipped with an auto fire sprinkler system, smoke detection system, fire alarm system, and emergency exits. Linens and beddings are new and clean. A good, convenience and safe place to stay. Will come back!

Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location: food, fun, drinks are all within walking distance. I like the yellow buns with cream inside and the porridge at breakfast. There was construction going nearby on my last 2 days of my stay at Thien Hai. This construction noise was the only thing that disturbed me.

Wonderful hotel
After checking out of a terrible hotel we were very pleased to have found this lovely hotel. The staff were most plesant and helpful. They arranged the car to the airport without any problem and helped with anything we asked them.we felt lucky to be there after the first hotel been such a disaster.
