Best hotel in hanoi, I had a great time! The location very close to the lake and old quarter. Sulli in particular was amazing, so kind and friendly. Halong bay and sapa booking the trip from Jimmy and I would like to recommend to anyone come to stay and booking the trip from here. Highly recommend!

Very happy that we stayed here. The rooms are big and clean. The breakfast are delicious and the coffee is great. Location is superb, walking distance to many attractions and with lots of good food around. The staffs are friendly. We'll definitely recommend this to my friends.

I booked this hotel and a few others for my 3week stay in Vietnam. By far the Hanoi Royal Palace 2 is the best for staff, guest interaction. I want to make a special call out to Jennie who was absolutely fabulous with her communication and support with all my questions before and during our stay.. all the staff were extremely helpful, rooms and food were all excellent.. thanks guys 👍

The hotel is located in the middle of the Old Quarter, bustling city! The property is a bit old but clean. The staff were warm and courteous It's a good thing to experience the hustle and bustle of this vibrant city! Close to everything you need and people are accomodating.

Lovely little hotel close to everything. The staff was extremely helpful with recommendations, laundry, and booking car service to the airport. Breakfast offerings covered both western and local tastes. Definitely recommend.

Jimmy at the reception was warm and eager and we were immediately given our room. It had modern furnishings and was wonderfully comfortable. I loved our stay here and wished we could have stayed on more. The location is really great too!

The hotel is not new but it is clean and has delicious breakfast, especially pho and eggs. The staff are the best thing and the reason I give it a high score. Jimmy and Sulli are extremely friendly and enthusiastic. Jimmy introduced me to all the points of interest on the map. He also introduced many quality tours at very good prices. Unfortunately, we had planned a long time in advance and had booked all the tours already.

It was an amazing experience. The room was clean and tidy, very nice and supportive staff specially Jimmy. Good breakfast options. The property is located in the heart of the city. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

The facility is a bit old but it is clean. Location is good, most of the places are within walking distance. Plenty of foods in surrounding area. One thing I want to mention is that staff, particularly Jimmy, the day time floor manager, is very helpful and knowledgeable.

The staff is excellent, thank you Sully! Staff goes out of way to help, and gave great city and food recommendations. The building/facilities are dated and a tad worn but very well-maintained; the room, sheets, etc were clean! (Shower height may be too short for tall guests, fyi.) Generous with complimentary daily water, coffee, and tea. Ideal location within Old Quarter. Really great value. Recommended!!

Just spent few days in Hanoi. And Royal Palace hotel is one of the best hotel so far. If you're travelling alone, this hotel is located in Old Quarter area, which popular for tourists, and also near the St Joseph Cathedral. The hotel manager (Jimmy) is a nice guy. He told me some information about Hanoi. And it was useful, since i travelled alone :-). The room is nice, modern mix retro style. Which i love it. The AC is good. Shower with hot water. Clean and tidy.

Had an amazing 4nights stay here. Everything was exceptionally good. Room was spacious, clean and more importantly the friendly staff. Alex speaks good english and helped us to arrange our Halong Bay day tour and also the Trang An limousine transfer. Great service and location wise was superb! Strategically located in the Old Quarter and it's only a walking distance to almost everywhere.

Stayed here for 2nights, Mr Jim who is the manager is an amazing person who is ready to help out anytime and also he immediately sorts out if there is any issue in the room. Arranged my tours through the hotel which I really enjoyed. As the hotel is situated in the old quarters which is the heart of Hanoi everything starting from ATM ,mart, pharmacy, even the night market is at a walkable distance. Will definitely recommend this hotel to the person searching for the best hotel to stay in. Also Ms.Anne arranged me a drop off ride to the airport at a lesser price when compared with Grab, Go jek. Overall had an amazing stay. Go for this hotel without a second thought.

I recently stayed at the Royal Palace Hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam, and I was very impressed with my stay. The hotel is located in the heart of the Old Quarter, just a short walk from Hoan Kiem Lake and many of the city's most popular attractions. The hotel is also within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and cafes. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are also spacious and well-equipped. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. They are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that you have a comfortable stay. They are also very knowledgeable about the city and can help you plan your activities and excursions. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Hanoi. It is a great place to stay for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The best things about this hotel are its location, friendly & helpful staff, and comfortable rooms. With only a few days in Hanoi, the hotel proved a perfect base to explore the Old Quarter by foot. Importantly, the room was a haven to escape the heat and busyness of the city. The staff on the front desk were very helpful & knowledgable giving directions and information for exploring. They were able to book me a coach tour day trip to Nimh Bihn national park, with collection & drop off from the hotel door. Highly recommended. They can also arrange trips to Halong Bay. Transfers to the airport were also easily arranged by the hotel. The porters are extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast is a simple buffet with a good selection of cooked eggs available to order. The fruit selection was nice but the orange juice could do with improving. All in all, a great stay and I’ll happily return if I find myself back in Hanoi.

Great location, all the staff are so lovely and friendly. Good breakfast and I love the Beef Pho here, it's amazing. They helped us book a 2 day 1 night tour to Sapa by sleeper bus. We got there during the holiday season so it was quite crowded, but the tour organization was very professional and everything was very good.

Absolutely excellent staff and the driver to and from the airport was a godsend. An older hotel, and noisy streets below, but none of that seemed to bother me.

The hotel is lovely. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking a quiet street - the bedroom and bathroom were very nicely decorated and of really good quality. We were not bothered by noise from the street. I'm also very impressed with the staff here, they're really kind and always clean the room before we come back. Alex helped us book a sleeper bus to Sapa very comfortably.
