Bad Overall Experience
Bedsheets had obvious blood and fluid stains on them. Towels provided weren't clean at all, had weird stains on them as well. No toothbrush nor shaver provided, shampoo and bodywash provided were obviously insufficient for 2 person throughout a 4 days stay. Had to get all the toiletries myself from 7-11. Spent my first night catching mosquitoes and spider, because the ventilation net in the toilet was torn. Woke up filled with sweat and mosquito bites, the air conditioner spoilt in the middle of the night as well. Surfaced the problems to the hotel management in the morning, when I came back at about 7-8pm I was told to wait at the lobby for another 30+ mins, because they were not done fixing the aircon. My friend and I were left at the lobby to feed mosquitoes as our dinner went cold. Located at a shady place as well, entirely different from what you would expect from the images.

Staff was friendly, however the hotel is old and has no hot shower. Location is quite hidden, have to walk for quite abit to the BTS station as well.

Good hotel but old
All facilities are good in quality, but they are old. The room and bed are very big, but I can hear the voice from other rooms. The hotel location is in walking distance from/to BTS but not good to walk in night (it was very dark).

Surasak Station to Hotel.
Walk from Surasak Station to Hotel about 1 km. Room is big, clean and comfortable. However air-condition is not cool and wifi not working when i stayed there.

Smell, no extra pillow provide even the one they given is thin like sheet, power disconnected during shower, long walk to BTS, dangerous to walk at night due to the hotel located at the back street...!

Budget hotel
The taxi driver that dropped us off at this hotel summed it up "You stay one night, ok. You stay here THREE nights! Oh no, too far from main road for you. Not good." So this is a budget hotel, that does come with a breakfast of sorts. This place is hard to find, luckily our taxi driver was older and had clearly been around Bangkok to many of the hotels for a while. Otherwise you need to be clear with your instructions, and say its near Saint Louis Hospital Sathorn. It is quite a way down Sathorn 13 and around the corner, which is dark at night, although we walked every night from the hotel to the main road and around without issue. The first thing you see as you wait for the lift is the skinned cat skin acting as a doily on the table in the foyer. Really sets the mood. The walls are pretty thing as well, just FYI. There are residents in the walls as well, and they sounded pretty huge, though were not spotted on our stay. We suspect it also due to them that the breakfast is served offsite, further up the alley in another hotel called the H-residence. It's very much an ok breakfast. In hindsight would've probably preferred to stay in a better place with no breakfast - there's so much food around Bangkok. The room was large, and clean, the bathroom was ok, with a tiny showerhead, but again, ok, has everything you need. This hotel is close to the skyrail, which will get you anywhere you need to go around Bangkok, and close to good restaurants and street food.

I have ended up living here the staff may come across rude but they are not they are understaffed under paid and left with so many problems the hotel is great value big size room for the money if your looking for a nice room to relax you will struggle to find bigger room than this only problem is you book online head office never check how many rooms are available so you could get lucky and get upgraded for free or you could book there other hotel and pay 3 times the price and get this is what the staff deal with for a 18p a hour salary i will recommend this hotel to anyone and enjoy your stay

Very helpful staff
Had a great stay at this hotel. When I lost my passport during my stay they were extremely helpful with everything in trying to help me retrieve it. The room was pretty nice, a bit tired but nothing to complain about. Bathroom was good and shower was partitioned off which I always have to look for in Thailand. The hotel is a bit tucked away down an alley, but there are a few small local restaurants on your way to the main road that I enjoyed very much, and once you get to the main road a 7/11 right on the corner surrounded by a bunch of different street food. A little bit of a walk to get to the nightlife, but easy to get meter taxis or even motorbike taxis. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Pretty disappointing, when I arrive, they told me the Hostel got a air con problem so they move me south in a little hostel lost with. Thing around called H2, the tv didn't work, the wifi neither, I booked a deluxe room for 900Bth / night, they put me in a little one. With all of that, I asked for a discount, they told me they can not do that. The morning when I would like to leave to Don Muang airport, the Thai from the reception try to sell me a "Private taxi from the hostel with insurance and everything" for 500b, when I looked myself, I found for 250bth. This hostel doesn't care about their costumer, they want to take money from you, that's it, book in another place, it will be more enjoyable !

The hotel is the worst that i ever stayed. The atmosphere is every bad. The room looks very scared. on that day , after checking in We went to our room. Whlie we are in front of the lift, it is so old. Then we went to our room. The room is not good. Then we talked to one another and went to lobby and immediately checked out. When i gave the key card to the front office,he did not ask me and he looked normal, not shocked,why we checked out very fast. And then we went out and and found another hotel to stay . Feel so bad with here The worst staff and the worst hotel

Be careful with the Room Service people !!!
This is a budget range hotel with a good room size. Just be careful with the room service people while you are away as I got my money stolen from my bag. Though it was reported but no action was taken by the manager. Overall it's a good hotel as far as price is concerned.

Better book H2
I booked 4 nights at "The Heritage Hotel Sathorn". When i arrived, I found a cigarette in the shower, the toilet was running all the time and the aircon was very loud. Further, there were two lights, that could not be switched off. The hotel is old and in a very bad condition. After one night, I asked to be transfered to their partner hotel "H2" (already stayed there in the past) which was done without any problems and without charging any fee. Next time, I will book H2 directly even if it's a little bit further away from the main road.

The hotel is not bad, with large, well appointed rooms at reasonable rates, but it is not good either, located in a dark alley, with no hotel-services at all. It is a place to sleep and nothing more. And since my bed had no cover as is customary I kept wondering if someone else had slept in my sheets before. There was no further evidence but it gave me an uneasy feeling.

Hotel condition was nice, only the location
The hotel was good. Spacious room, warm hospitality from all staff, wifi connnection available. What matters is only the location of the hotel, its a bit far from the mainroad, and not as good as reviewed cause its facing ACC college on the front and nursing college at the back.. View were blocked by this 2 building

Very cheap !! BUT...................!! Location : very bad! It is inside the small road, very dark at night. Not suitable for female. Taxi driver doesn't know how to go. Room : Big, but the facilities no good. The toilet flushing system is broken down. Shower area no door. Dog barking from 5am downstair! Staff : the receptionist can speak good English.

Nice budget hotel in the heart of Bangkok
If you are looking for a budget hotel in the heart of Bangkok, then this will do the job. At the beginning they assigned a room in which the illumination and WIFI were a bit irritating, but they were happy to assign me another room. The room contained the basics (fridge, A/C, towels, soap, shampoo, shower gel, drinking glasses, two free bottles of water everyday), but no coffee, tea, or other utensils. The reception has a fridge which contains soft drinks and they also have some varieties of ice cream. You can order coffee, tea, or other food from the reception, but it's much cheaper if you buy from outside. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I have read many reviews about noise, I stayed in the first floor and I didn't suffer from such problem. Overall it was nice experience, but again once you get into your room you have to check everything is working well, especially A/C and WIFI.

Nice hotel for budget rates
It is situated very near MRT Surasak and very convenient in a calm area. Neatly maintained and staff are very helpful.They take pains to guide the guests for directions and site seeing ideas. Compared to Hotels in Prathunam, where most Indians stay due to budget rates , this would be a far better choice in terms of location if you are looking at a calm neighbourhood with good connectivity to go around...bet you can't get better place for this cost.

PLEASE DON'T BOOK HERE!!! It's nothing like pictures it's not even called the heritage. It's ripping off the name. Save the hassle and spend more on something worthwhile.

Budget, aged but clean.
The room was big and clean but with aged. The safety box is not functioning in 2 rooms we stayed in. The air conditioning system is way too loud for a quiet rest. The walking distance to BTS Surasak station is bearable and in the morning there is a "short cut" by cutting through the hospital. However, if you have lots to shop and carry, the place is pretty trying to reach.

-hotel not at location shown here or on Google maps. In the same area but further from the metro and main road -ant infestation in my makeup bag overnight! Hotel staff didn't apologise, sent a lady up with bug spray and that was it. -old furniture and shower -sheets not changed at all during 3 night stay, bed simply made each day -reception didn't tell me wifi password or about their free tuktuk service to the metro -tukutuk broke down on our first day

its not as good as its rated. the good; food to midnight in room. tuk-tuk on the 1/2 hour. desk staff very good. the bad: room ver dark, some lights don't work. shower head not attached to wall, housekeeping told me when i as them to come back at 10;00 that they have no time. sheets not changed during stay, long walk to bts if you don't wait for tuk-tuk. would rate it as 2* there are a lot better deals in bkk

Very ideal location. Smiling reception desk lady. Off and on internet access. Better to get te 299 baht 7day 3g in the airport. Very cool aircon. Clean bathroom. Good smelling towel. Limited channels. Swimming pool in another hotel. 7-11 in the corner...4minute walk from the cormer. Best of all, very excellent price per night.

The location is not that good but they have a tuk-tuk that leave you one block to the BTS Surasak. The WiFi it's good. We we're staying in the room 203 but the elevator wasn't working and didn't stop in second floor. In the Expedia web page in amenities it said that they provide ropes and slippers but they don't provide them. The breakfast it's delivered at your room, it's very poor and it's the same every day.

so i not rate The Heritage Hotels Sathorn as i not stay here , hotel was overbooked and only can offer residence hotel sathorn what is have very small rooms and not well condition, so hotel owner find new way how to sell not popular hotel for better price as the charge was same as HHS , but this not happen only to me but also to rest to mi friends as we travel in big group .

not the best by far! was a non smoking room. all my stuff smelled like smoke after one night there it was so bad. big rooms and a balcony which was nice but really not that great. the marvin suites that are close by is much nicer for about the same money. king bed was two twins pushed together and not very comfortable. place could use some work. breakfast was terrible too.
