I enjoyed the peace and quiet and lack of technology in the room. I work in information technology and I needed to unplug really bad. Perfect for me. The rooms are clean and well-kept up. Cleaner and better kept than the embassy suites I stayed in the night before. I stayed here about 6 years ago. I enjoyed the piece and quiet so much I came back.

Front desk staff were extremely friendly & helpful. One of the best shower experiences in a hotel for awhile; ADA grab bar in shower, non-slip strips on floor of bathtub, perfect water temperature & shower “spray”. In a period of transition so didn’t see a property address in plain view & needs new sign out front.

The room was big. We had a king bed that was very uncomfortable. Jacuzzi was nice. The tv was a huge box tv from the 90s. It said it had Direct TV but we only got 3 channels!!! The pool was closed. No coffee pot in our room. No vending machines or even ice machine we could see. Everytime someone went in or out the neighboring room it sounded like someone was trying to get in our room!! There was no fan in the bathroom.

If you need a place to stay this little place is query and safe. I called to the operator at 2:30 in the morning. And they come to my room and help me with the shower. With no questions asked and no attitude! Thank you Odisha House Of Rest !!

No bells, no whistles just a decent place to stay at a good price. If that’s all you are looking for then this is your place. The pool is closed, no breakfast, no microwave in the room and no refrigerator in the room. TV is old and outdated. We were staying over to go to the Packer game in the morning. The room was only $91 including the tax on a Packer game weekend. You get what you pay for and what we got was a decent room in a decent location for a decent price for a decent nights sleep. The front desk guy was friendly. The property served our purpose well.

We went to Wisconsin to attend a funeral. This was in our price range, was quiet, clean and comfortable. There were few bells and whistles but none were really needed. This place filled the bill.

House of not so clean rest
They need to do better on cleaning. Very dirty floor behind night stand. Even a coffee cup top under bed. The pool was not open and was not working.

No sign along road. No towels. Old 18" TV with no channels except shopping stations. Building on out side looked run down . Drain stopper in tub was broken and laying on tub. I am really surprised that Expedia would even recomend this place. Dont think I would use Expedia again.

Meh. A place to sleep.
It was clean...only easy to find because I read other reviews.. still no sign. The pool still out of order, they don't provide soap. There were towels. If you just need somewhere to sleep this works. No fridge or microwave so be sure to bring a cooler if needed. Everythings a bit outdated, but ive seen worse. Gotta have the guy check your room before you leave so you can get the extra charge credited back.

First off, there wasnt a sign for the motel. It looked like an abandoned building. I walked in and it stunk bad. The clerk didnt even process my payment thankfully. If i had the option to give 0 stars i would. This place sucked!! Pool is closed!!

The pool was closed, the tv in the room was very small and old. The sign outside was very misleading with the price of the room. Very strange and odd staff...like robots. Didn't know it was part of the Cult in Shawano. Would recommend staying outside of Shawano to get away from the weird vibes of that town

Clean, quiet, close to everything. Basic spotless rooms with what you need. Cut the extras and cut the cost! Perfect for us! There to sleep not for scheduled activities, pool, breakfast or big tv. Been staying here for years Same gentleman always working no fuss straightforward here’s your key. Yes they usually hold $100-$200 on your card for deposit i had to stop at the front or call to remove. Honestly completely understand with what some people do to hotel rooms. Staying again next month

Don't believe the Google reviews for this property. This place is a clear example of "don't judge a book by its cover". The room was comfortable, staff was friendly enough. The beds themselves *are* a kinda stiff, but that worked for me. Rates were fine for the quality of the property. It wasn't any worse an experience than the Choice Hotel name brands I usually stay at. I'll definitely return here if I need to stay overnight. My *only* ding....get a sign that shows the name of the hotel. I passed it three times thinking that it was an abandoned property because there were NO cars in the parking lot (I got there before check-in time) and there was no sign stating the name of the property.

Worth the price
The hotel room was clean and comfortable but outdated. Sign stated $45 rooms and we were charged $68 online but still not bad. No breakfast and the pool was closed. I would definitely stay again it was a good value.

Great value!
This hotel is in transition from an Americinn I believe. It is very no frills, but clean, quiet and comfortable beds. Walking distance to restaurants. I didn't use the pool or hot tub but they looked fine.

When I checked in I did have a problem with payment and the employee was rude. The hotel itself was decent. However, I am not sure I'd stay again if having to deal with same employee.
