Needs a renovation.
The hotel was quiet. The breakfast was wonderful. But the water was lukewarm, AC was barely working, brown towels were like sandpaper, mold in the bath tub, bath fixtures were rusty. The location was great.

Room was small but clean. Someone is at the desk 24 hrs/day. Centrally located to Tram. Emmy and others at desk extremely helpful.

All good
Excellent location. Within walking distance of tram to/from airport and close to old town. Elevator was tiny and could only take 2 people with luggage. Breakfast was on the pricy side, but was okay. Staff were wonderful and answered all questions.

Hotel was impeccably clean. The location is in La Rambla so it’s busy full of life and you will always find something to see and eat and do. You don’t hear the noises within the room too. Location is actually perfect

Location is great, close to shopping, old town and beach. Room is a bit small, bathroom is a large size. Overall a comfortable hotel to stay with.

Hotel Helvetique room is unclean with untidy towels that have an unpleasant odor(vomit smell). It also has limited space for movement due to being quite small. Additionally, the hotel is poorly maintained, and the building itself is old and not well taken care of. To add further, the bathroom is not adequately stocked and has unsanitary towels. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

There was a leaking water all night with noise couldn’t sleep Bad internet connection in the room and they didn’t fix the issue The room was too tiny but clean The woman in the reception was sweet and helpful but it was a bad stay

This is a very clean and tidy tourist hotel which is managed most efficiently. I would definitely stay here again.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! They promised me a refund but did not give it to me. Won’t answer my messages. The hotel is filthy. The hallways smell. There was hair all over the beds when we checked in. I went to the reception. He said there was nothing he could do. I complained and he said to stop back later for some new sheets. When I returned they were in my room. They would not make the beds. The three sheets they left were filthy. One had good stains, one had foot prints from a boot, and one had bodily fluids. When I went down to complain he did not think any my thing was wrong. After three calls to the manager she said she would refund me as I was NOT staying there. Never heard back or got my refund. Best part, he was speaking to her in French and she asked my nationality? What? How is that even relevant. STAY AWAY! And the parking is not close.

Room was spacious. which is good. Bed sheets were not changed daily. The room is not what you show in the pictures. When we retained the room showed to be $86 daily but ended up at over a $100 per day breakfast was included when booked and they said "no" extra 20 euros a day

Dear Madame, Dear Sir, We are happy to read that you have enjoied our spacious rooms. Effectively, we don't change sheets everyday but everyday 4 days only except of course if it is necessary. We don't understand the problem you met with the rate because you have paid the amount booked directly on line directly to Expedia and everywhere on the webpage it is written "breakfast available (supplement)". We are sorry if you did not read correctly the indications given by Expedia, but it is not correct to say that you paid more that what you have booked. In fact at check-in we have collected the city tax 1.50 eur per pers per night, as it is indicated by Exepdia on their webpage and informed you about the facultative breakfast which is in supplement. Excellent value in Central Nice
Helvetique is brilliant positioned for those who want to enjoy The many aspects of Nice. One block from Place Massena and the tram network it makes arriving from the airport, getting to the beach, old city, shopping , out of the way all so easy to do. The multilingual staff are both welcoming and informative. My double occupancy room was perfect for my needs.

So for 2 nights I was staying with friends and 1 night solo. The 1st 2 nights we noticed our room being much dingier than all our other friends rooms which wasn't that nice a feeling. All of us had issues with the hot water so the shower would be ok then all the hot water would run out. The night I was on my own it was like I was in a different hotel. The room was opposite my old one and a million times nicer and somehow cheaper than the dingy room. However the rainfall shower had amazing pressure but the same problem with hot water :( I could only enjoy it for about 30 seconds. The staff are lovely and it is quite central. There was a homeless person sleeping just outside on one of the nights but it might be a reflection of the times. Nice is a lovely place to visit. This hotel was convenient, if you are lucky enough to get a nice room and like cold showers then book it. Otherwise look elsewhere.

I have stayed here the last few times I was in nice. Great location, easy access to everything, meets all my needs and the price is right. The staff is multilingual, someone is on call at all times and the welcome is warm yet professional.

The main advantage of this hotel is its location around the corner from Place Massena and the main events of the city. Close to the Old Town, Albert 1st Gardens and the Promenade. Worth a visit.

Nice hotel
It's a bit dated but still fine. Very central location Staff doesn't speak English well but it's more than enough for communication. And they're Nice! I personally really liked mattress on the bed

Good hotel. Close to place Massena
Lots going on in Place Massena which is 5 mins away. 15 mins walk to train but tram goes there for 1.50 Euros from massena. 10 mins from seafront and Promenade des Anglais and Old town. Ideal location really. Good value breakfast in hotel. Would stay there again.

Stay here for location and proximity to other things only. The hotel is very tired and the concierge was ambivalent. The bathroom is average and the walls are pretty thin. The wifi was also very spotty.

Nice and convenient location, friendly staff, room was nice and clean. The bathroom and toilet were disappointing (bad odour, poor lighting). Windows had no flyscreen, so leaving them open was not an option either. Facilities could have been better too. The elevator was too small and not really enough for the number of guests (expect some delays).

Although room was a bit small bathroom was bigger than other place we stayed earlier. Staff very professional and helpful. We would stay there again.
