Good Morning, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience in our hotel. It is with regret that I read carefully your comment. As I told you the day you left our building is an authentic historic building, it is a fact that the walls are thin and you can possibly hear people going upstairs, however, we do our best to ensure that silence reigns in the floors and common areas of the hotel. The last check-in we made this night was at 22:00, after this time there was no luggage noise anymore. Moreover it is mentioned on our website and on all our partners websites that our hotel is located in a lively pedestrian street with restaurants and bars nearby that most of our customers appreciate. Even if you did not complain about the noise directly to us, my colleague asked the group of young people to make less noise when it started to get late and they stopped immediately. Rest assured that we always pay special attention to the comfort and satisfaction of our customers. Best regards

Good afternoon. The entire Bord’O team would like to thank you for taking the time to write a review. Our hotel always seeks to provide you with the best possible service, therefore I am deeply sorry to hear that our hotel’s soundproofing did not meet your expectations. We acquired the Hotel Le Bord’O in 2017, and on that occasion, we completely renovated the building and we worked hard on that issue. Unfortunately, the hotel has some technical constraints, such as its location (in the lively neighborhood of Saint-Nicolas) and its history (it was originally built near 1500). If the soundproofing is not ideal, I can assure you that our team is doing everything in its power to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Have you noticed that earplugs are available both in our rooms and at the reception ? They are at your disposal so that you can take full advantage of your night, especially if you are a light sleeper. Moreover, we always have someone in our staff present by night, that asks our clients to keep it down in case of extensive noise, and we also keep signs in the corridors to encourage our clients to be wary of the noise they are making. Also, we sent the roller shutter in repair. I hope that in the case of a possible future stay in our hotel, we will have the opportunity to show you how hard we have been working on improving our service concerning this issue.
