We were placed in a handicap accessible room. I cannot speak for all rooms but we did not need the handicap accessibility. The layout made our stay a bit bothersome. We didn’t like the bathroom layout. The area around the toilet was wet the whole stay as the shower water was not draining correctly.

The Good: Clean, spacious room. Lively lobby with a bar and pool table. Friendly and attentive staff. Full sized shower gel and hair products provided. Smart tv’s that allowed for streaming of Netflix and Prime (using your own account). Competitively priced. The Bad: The Hotel sits right next to the highway. My room (307) faced the highway and it was VERY noisy. I requested a quiet room at check-in and was told they were fully booked. (does that mean I get a lesser room bc I booked it through Expedia?) She also said the noisiest rooms were on the first floor, which after walking through the very lively lobby I can understand. My room did have earplugs sitting on the desk, but those have never worked for me as they hurt my ears. A few times I woke up in the middle of the night and it sounded like an 18 wheeler was plowing through my room! Perhaps if I had a different room it wouldn’t have been so noisy. Good stay except for the highway noise.

We understand that a good night's sleep is essential, and we're disappointed that your request for a quiet room couldn't be accommodated due to our high occupancy during your visit. I can assure you that the assignment of rooms is based on availability and not on the booking platform used, and we do our best to honor guest preferences whenever possible.Regarding the noise, we offer earplugs as a courtesy, but I understand that they can be uncomfortable for some guests. I'm sorry they didn't work for you. We will continue to explore other noise-reduction measures to improve the experience for our guests.Despite the noise, we're glad to hear that you appreciated the other aspects of your stay, such as the shower gel and hair products, the Smart TVs, and the competitive pricing. Upon check in, I was in the shower when I heard my wife yelling that there were hairs in the bed plus the pillows looked like someone slept in there, but apparently, they never bother to make the bed and change the linen. After we called a nice guy came over to make the bed with fresh linen and before he left the room, he gave us two cards to use at the bar or breakfast, in the morning my wife asked for two biscuit sandwiches plus a cinnamon bun, which would have been the total amount of the two cards combined, anyways, the person at the front desk, told her that the cards can't be combined. I went over to explain the reason why we got the cards to begin with, another person next to her said that he would take care of it and as I went on my way to my wife, their mocking and poor attitude was very obvious and noticeable that make us feel like we were begging for a free meal. My wife also noticed how they interacted with each other as there were many other employees and we decided not to eat anything coming from this place, usually people with that type of attitude will spit in your food, so we just went to our room to pick up our thing and left the place. I never like to play the race card, but I'm pretty sure that this time, if I would have been white instead or Hispanic, we would have been treated different.

The view from our room was a graffiti painted out of business restaurant. It’s not the fault of Aloft but it’s truly an eyesore to someone that has never been to Knoxville. All in all, a very satisfying stay with questionable scenery.

There were stains on the sheet. Looked like someone spilled a drink on the bathroom wall and it never got cleaned up. There was a hand full of someone’s hair in the trash can. No trash bags for the trash cans. No lock on bathroom door.

I’m not sure why I was given a room next to the elevator and ice machine. The hotel was only about 1/3 occupied. It was noisy enough from the interstate traffic.

This was the worst room I’ve Ever stayed at. Expressway noise was at best Horrible. How this place got an excellent rating is unbelievable. BEWARE!! Any place that leaves you ear plugs so you sleep. UNBELIEVABLE!!!’

Great stay
Hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. They had entertainment in the lobby which we enjoyed. Hotel bar was a bit pricey but very convenient.

Modern and nice suite
Hotel was great, loved our room! The only issue is housekeeping never came on day 2, we asked on day 3, still didn’t come. 4 days into our trip was the first time housekeeping cleaned our room. That I was not happy about, however, everything else no complaints.

The staff was nice but the noise from the interstate was horrible. Then to add to the noise issue was the heater/air conditioner. I hate to say this but if you want to sleep I would avoid staying here.

Such a surprise! First time at this brand and LOVE everything about it! Games and pool table, bar, lots of lounging/private little area options in lobby. Lovely outdoor space with seating and fire table. Nice pool. Fine workout room. Small but nice rooms. Modern, unique, great value!!! Can’t wait to stay again and at more Aloft’s!!!!!!
