Very far away from town centre, no shops around, supermarkets a bit far away. No shower, and not even plug on the bath, just an old towel. Expensive, 50 per day, for that price you can book at Travellodge with toilet inside the room and in conditions, plus maybe breakfast included. The only good thing was ability to cook

The host did not respond to door bell, phone calls and voice mails from me and customer service agent. I was left stranded in the cold for about 2 hours and had to book another accommodation because my phone battery was already low and power bank was already used up. It was at the point Uber almost arrived to transport me to the newly booked hotel that the host then spoke to me through the door bell claiming to have sent me log in details when I used the chat box on Expedia which she didn’t. I was meant to check in on 24th April and out on 25th but received check in details via email on the 26th of April. I want a refund of my booking fee because I ended up spending extra to book an hotel.

Hi Esther, I have evidence to show that I sent a check in message at 17:45 right after your booking on 24th April. The doorbell cameras also show that you arrived at the property after 6pm. You then sent a message at 18:48 and I responded immediately at 18:49. I then resent you the check in details. After this, I spoke with you via the doorbell camera and gave you the check in code again. As a result, you’re not eligible for a refund. Best wishes,Patchway Homestay

Found self check-in key locker open (Anybody could have helped themselves with in or made copies) Room door did not lock from inside. Curtains did provide any privacy (had to hang my towel to cover up) Rude, noisy and obnoxious tenants. Property is very basic even for the price. This place is a joke. Would not recommend.

Hello Stephen, thanks for your review. I’m sorry you did not have a great experience this time. I agree it wasn’t great to find the lockbox open. I will definitely be following this up. If I’d known about your concerns, I’d have definitely done my best to fix the issues with the blinds and locks. Apologies that the other guests were noisy as well. If you ever decide to give us another chance, I’ll be happy to offer you a discount on your next stay. Enjoy the rest of your week.
