"We stayed as part of a larger walking group to climb Mount Snowden on our Cancer Charity fund raiser, so to find the hotel was located only 300 yards from the start of the route was a real bonus. The staff were attentive and delivered great customer service, thank you. We stayed in room 248, a twin room on the corner , a massive plus was that the windows opened, so you could get real fresh air rather than air con, it makes so much differnce. "The Good: Very nice staff: Superb lounge area on the front of the hotel with sea views: TVs and well stock bars. Great breakfast, plentiful, hot and tasty. The Bad: Car parking. Hotel has 16 spots. Need to take it down to 14 and widen the lines. Difficult to exit your car when parked without doors touching car next to you. Ok if you have a Smart Car The Ugly: Skirting boards in room need serious attention. The visible wall from breakfast room is in dire need of a paint and clean up. Overall a...

"Hotel was adequate for our needs. Comfy bed and slept well. When booking it stated a restaurant but found it wasnt open . Tv in room wasnt working but owner sorted it. Breakfast was poor."

"Stayed in one of the lodges- well decorated, functional and very clean. The extractor fan in the bathroom made us laugh as it sounded like a 747 on the taxiway, but it did switch off eventually . Only had breakfast at the hotel but that was great and service was very quick. Pool and gym were welcome additions, not too busy and well kept."

"Nice old hotel, a little dated but clean and food was good, was woken up in the early hours by the sound of shattering glass as if the window had been broken but nothing was amiss which was a little creepy "
