"Our studio room was supper clean and nicely renovated. The bed was a bit soft and our room alittle dark but for the price it was worth it. There was a communal kitchen and bbk area which was an added bonus. The motel is conveniently located in the center of Richmond with 2 amazing Restaurants on cite. "

"Great experience at the Chelsea Park Motor Lodge. Dean and Tomoko are great hosts, so friendly. We had a pretty little garden courtyard to sit in complete with three Fantails (Piwakawaka) flying around us. Will definitely stay here again!"

"Reception was great, Mari was super kind and helpful and got us set right away. The unit itself was big and well appointed. Kitchenette had everything we needed, including salt & pepper! Easy walk to town and we had one of our best dinners at The Smoking Barrel in town. We used this as our base to hike in Abel Tasman and it was the right choice. We could hear some noise from the unit beside us, but nothing that really bothered us. "
